Royal Rumble

Randy Orton won the 2009 Royal Rumble last eliminating Triple H

John Cena def. JBL to retain the World Heavyweight Championship

Edge def. Jeff Hardy to retain the WWE Championship

Jack Swagger def. Matt Hardy to retain the ECW Championship

----

Stuff to keep in mind

The JBL/HBK storyline is non-existent. Edge retained the WWE Championship at Armageddon, and the Royal Rumble was Jeff Hardy’s last chance at the belt while Edge was champion. The Royal Rumble was one week earlier, thus giving a 4 week gap between it and No Way Out.

----

The Orton/McMahon Situation

The night after the Royal Rumble, Randy Orton came into the ring on Monday Night Raw to speak about his actions. Orton claimed he had done nothing wrong and if anybody is to blame, it’s Vince. Randy told the world about his immunity from being fired because of his legal right to compete in the Wrestlemania Main Event, thanks to his win at the Royal Rumble the previous night. Shane and Stephanie then entered the ring and began to speak to Randy about what happened. Shane said he had spoken to Vince and they had come to an agreement. The fans should already know what Vince was going to do, what any McMahon would do; exact revenge. Vince may not be healthy now, but he will be by the time No Way Out rolls around. Whilst Orton could not be fired, Shane, the acting Chairman, could force him to put his career on the line at No Way Out in a Street Fight against Vince. Orton laughed at the proposition, before accepting and telling Shane that by the time Wrestlemania rolls around, every McMahon will be in a hospital bed.

The following week, the show was opened by Randy Orton and Priceless. After a re-cap video of the Legend Killer kicking Vince McMahon in the head and the match made last week, Randy began to speak. He said he had decided that since he was being forced to put his job on the line, Vince McMahon would have to do the same. If Randy beat Mr. McMahon, he would lose his spot as Chairman of the board. Shane McMahon, the acting Chairman, came to the ring and agreed, setting another huge stipulation on the No Way Out match. Orton said it was time to send a message, as Legacy surrounded Shane so he could not escape. As they moved in to attack, Stephanie came to the ring with security and stopped any physical altercation.

The next week, it was made official; in a No Way Out warm-up, Shane would face off against Randy Orton in the Main Event. Legacy and Stephanie stood at ringside as the match progressed, before it ended by disqualification when Randy low blowed Shane. Legacy climbed into the ring to attack the fallen Shane, but Stephanie cradled her brother to protect him. As she knelt down, Randy Orton did the unthinkable. Frothing at the mouth, he punted Stephanie McMahon in the head. The show ended with dead air, even Priceless were shocked at Orton’s actions, who stood in the corner with a sadistic sneer on his face. Stephanie was stretchered out, Shane ignoring Orton and helping attend to his sister.

Returns & Debuts

The first Smackdown after the Royal Rumble saw one of the biggest returns in recent years, the return of Christian. He interrupted a promo by his brother Edge, who was initially pleased to see his sibling. However, Christian said he didn’t want anything to do with his brother or his ‘pet cow’ Vickie Guerrero, and that the reason he returned to the WWE was the championship which hung over Edge’s shoulder. Edge was incensed and challenged Christian to a non-title match that night, stating if he could beat him, he’d get a spot in the Elimination Chamber for the WWE Championship, which Vickie approved. After 15 minutes of gruelling competition and interference from Vickie Guerrero, Big Show and Chavo Guerrero, Christian managed to get the pinfall with a small package. Since then, Christian has pinned Edge in a tag team match also involving Triple H and Big Show, and got a DQ victory over the WWE Champion in a Handicap match where he was teaming with Vladimir Koslov & Big Show. Christian has been the proverbial fly in the ointment of Vickie and Edge, will he finally claim the WWE Championship?

The New Hart Foundation of TJ Wilson & DH Smith debuted on ECW and so far have remained undefeated in tag team competition, although they are yet to face any proven teams. Rob Van Dam returned to save Tommy Dreamer from a hardcore assault on ECW after the Rumble and is now a permanent member of the roster, gaining a win over Mark Henry and a loss to Jack Swagger to date. The Samoan Bulldozer, Umaga also returned to Smackdown.

The Elimination Chambers

Raw

Shawn Michaels defeated Cody Rhodes to qualify. JBL defeated Goldust to qualify. Chris Jericho defeated CM Punk, with a little help from William Regal, to qualify. Rey Mysterio defeated Mike Knox to qualify. Kane defeated Dolph Ziggler to qualify.

Smackdown

Big Show defeated Kung Fu Naki to qualify. Christian defeated Edge to qualify. Triple H defeated Chavo Guerrero to qualify. Undertaker defeated Vladimir Koslov by countout to qualify.

Other Feuds

So far, The Colons have scored 5 pinfall wins over the tag team champions over the past 3 weeks (Primo def. John Morrison on ECW, Carlito def. The Miz on Smackdown, Carlito & Primo def. Miz & Morrison on Raw, Primo def. The Miz on ECW, Carlito def. John Morrison on Smackdown). Frustration is starting to begin for Mizorrison, as there have been many arguments between the two about why they are losing. Can they get it together before No Way Out?

CM Punk and William Regal have continued to be at each others throats since the Royal Rumble. Regal cost Punk a spot in the Elimination Chamber and the two have been battling at every opportunity since then. At No Way Out, the championship is on the line in a 2-out-of-3 Falls match, will this issue finally be settled?

Shelton Benjamin has had many men on his trail since he became United States Champion. Now he has not one, but two, challengers vying for his title. Benjamin is in a bit of a slump, losing to both men in non-title action. He intervened in a number one contenders match between the two, but Vickie Guerrero declared both men will challenge for the belt at No Way Out.

You've set this up well. All of the title situations and major feuds are well defined, and I'm looking forward to it. I haven't read your serious stuff in a long time, so I'll try to check this out. Break my expectations, because I honestly see this only going up until the first PPV.

You've had a fair few BTB's now. I hope this sticks. You seems determined to make a BTB stick and work, so who knows? This could be THE BTB.

Good luck! :y:

This BTB seems well thought out I guess and has some potential. For some people, the motivation they need to get back to their best is a simple BTB, most likely a WWE one. Hopefully this one will get you back up there Pat.

There are some interesting things going on in the title situations and such, and some good things such as RVD returning are happening. I also really like the concept of a draft to start things off.

John Morrison vs. Carlito

To go along with their current storyline which seems rather interesting I see Carlito winning and Mizorrison breaking up somewhere down the line.

United States Champion, Shelton Benjamin & Hurricane Helms vs. Intercontinental Champion, CM Punk & William Regal (Double Draft Pick)

Less hate between the two partners, also I sense Regal or Punk walking out.

Matt Hardy vs. Kofi Kingston

ECW will put up the rape shield in this draft tbh.

Vladimir Koslov vs. Jamie Noble

Unless...

Priceless vs. Jesse & Festus (Double Draft Pick)

Priceless to get two picks for Raw and kinda even it out.

Shawn Michaels vs. Big Show

The picks have been SD heavy so far, so give Raw some more stars here.

Main Event
15 Man Battle Royal Jack Swagger
(Triple Draft Pick)

Pull a huge surprise and have ECW win, putting over the young champ in the process and making it look less like a C brand.

1-Will any champions change brands? If yes, who?

Yes, but idk. Tag champs both on one show?

2-Who do you think will be drafted and where?

Some big names to ECW, and minor shake ups on Raw and SD.

3-How many superstars will be drafted to each show?

See picks above.

Who do you want to face Shawn Michaels at Wrestlemania?
A) Stone Cold Steve Austin
B) Triple H
C) The Rock
D) Hulk Hogan

Knowing he'll end up in all of your BTBs anyway. >_>

Anywayz Pat, if you want you can check out Brandon and Brandon present: WWE 2009, Raw is posted and I hear it pwns.

ohai. Comment for you imo.

Basically all of the others have said what I was going to say, as this looks good and hopefully you stick with this. The draft looks interesting and Morrison and Miz will break up, as Morrison goes to another brand and gets a jesus push {he deserves it IMO}. I reckon you will make in your opinion Matt FAILURE Hardy will lose, and no idea about the draft picks except for Morrison changing.

STICK WITH THIS IMO .

Monday Night Raw
3 Hour Draft Special
February 9, 2009

Pyro explodes all across the arena, as the crowd leap to their feet for the beginning of the show. We are thrown over to the commentating team for tonight, Jim Ross of Smackdown, Matt Striker of ECW and Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler of Raw.

JR: Welcome ladies and gentlemen, to the annual WWE draft. I’m here alongside my old buddy The King and the up-and-coming Matt Striker.

Striker: Thank you JR, it’s an honour to sit alongside two Hall of Famers and call the action tonight. The draft has been known to throw the WWE Universe into disarray, and I’m sure the shocks and surprises will continue this year

King: I’ve gotta agree with you there Matt, nobody knows what’s going to happen! We could end up with both of the World Champions on Raw!

Striker: Or maybe John Cena and Edge will end up on the home of extreme with yours truly?

JR: That’s the exciting thing, it could go anyway! I’m personally pulling for a John Cena return to Smackdown, which may happen in this first match between ECW’s John Morrison and Smackdown’s Carlito!

World Tag Team Champion, John Morrison w/The Miz (ECW) vs. WWE Tag Team Champion, Carlito w/Primo (Smackdown!)

Striker: So far the conceited Miz & Morrison haven’t been able to secure any wins over the high-flying second generation brothers, will tonight be the night?

King: There’s a lot on the line, maybe that’s just the motivation John Morrison needs.

The bell rings and the two rivals circle around the ring, before moving in and locking up. Morrison quickly manoeuvres his body around and twists Carlito’s arm. Carlito is quick to counter though, moving over to the second rope and using it to flip backwards and remove the twist, before taking Morrison across the ring with an arm drag. Carlito doesn’t give the Guru of Greatness any room to breath, charging towards him as he gets to his feet. John however sees the advancing Carlito in the nick of time, countering into a flapjack which sends one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions face first onto the turnbuckle. Carribean Cool groggily stumbles away, Morrison spring boarding off the second rope and delivering a flying roundhouse kick. One, Two-No! Carlito tosses the shoulder up.

Morrison grabs Carlito by the arm and lifts him to a standing position. The Tuesday Night Delight throws his adversary into the ropes and when he rebounds tries to clothesline him. The second generation Colon however ducks under and springboards off the second rope, catching John Morrison with a reverse elbow as he turns around. Carlito gets a rush of adrenalin it seems and charges towards a kneeling Guru of greatness, sending his knee crashing into the facial structure of Morrison. John bounces up groggily but gets no time to recover, as Carlito follows this up with a running clothesline. The crowd goes wild as Carlito climbs to the top rope, eagerly anticipating the ascension of his opponent. The Shaman of Sexy stands up and is once again knocked straight back down, Carlito soaring majestically through the air and drilling one half of the World Tag Team Champions with a missile dropkick to the chest. Carlito crawls to the cover, one, two-No! The Miz makes the save by dragging Carlito out of the ring.

As Carlito gets up to his feet, Morrison runs across the ring and dives through the ropes at his opponent. Carlito is pulled out of the way by his brother Primo, and John Morrison crashes straight into his own tag team partner, The Miz! Carlito quickly grabs John and throws him into the ring. Morrison stomps on Caribbean Cool as he enters the ring, before tossing him towards the turnbuckle and chasing after him. Carlito backflips off the turnbuckle, landing behind The Guru of Greatness and delivering the Backstabber! One, Two, three!

WWE Tag Team Champion, Carlito wins by pinfall
Smackdown! gets the first draft pick

Miz and Morrison argue on the outside as The Colons celebrate in the ring, before The Miz walks up the ramp leaving John Morrison behind.

JR: Yes! The first draft pick goes to Friday Night Smackdown

Striker: Glad to see your completely objective Jim. Looks like Mizorrison are still having trouble getting on the same page.

The camera pans up to the big screen as we see pictures of the superstars flashing. It begins to slow down, John Cena…Jack Swagger…CM Punk…Cody Rhodes…the reel stops on none other than the Guru of Greatness, John Morrison!

John Morrison drafted to Smackdown!

JR: One half of the World Tag Team Champions is headed to Smackdown!

King: But where does this leave the team the team of The Miz & John Morrison?

Commercial Break.

We return from the break to see the United States Champion, Shelton Benjamin standing in the ring as his tag team partner Hurricane Helms comes down to the ring.

King: Welcome back ladies and gentlemen, it’s time for the first Double Draft Pick match of the night.

Striker: What makes this match that much more interesting as in both pairings, the men will be competing against one another this Sunday at No Way Out. Neither team will be able to coexist, but who will implode first?

JR: There’s a lot on the line in this match-up, Smackdown has already secured the first draft pick, but who will get two and three?

United States Champion, Shelton Benjamin & Hurricane Helms (Smackdown!) vs. Intercontinental Champion, CM Punk & William Regal (Raw) (Double Draft Pick)

CM Punk stands in the ring waiting for his partner, but Regal doesn’t show up. The referee asks Punk if he’d like to forfeit, but CM shakes his hand and says he’ll compete against both men. The bell rings and as Punk lays his Intercontinental Championship in the corner, he is blindsided by Shelton Benjamin, who begins to unload with a furious assault of rights and lefts. Benjamin presses the advantage and takes the Intercontinental Champion down with a snap suplex which gets him a one count. Punk is quick to get back to his feet as is Benjamin, who goes for a roundhouse kick to the skull of his opponent, but is ducked and Punk slams Shelton with a roundhouse of his own, right in the temple. Benjamin stumbles back into the turnbuckle as Punk taps his knee, the crowd cheering in anticipation. CM charges forward and connects with a stiff knee to the jaw of the US Champ, before transitioning that into a bulldog. Shelton however manages to counter the bulldog, tossing Punk off and sending the Intercontinental Champion crashing into the mat, his own momentum sending him rolling under the bottom rope and down to the floor.

Benjamin taunts Hurricane Helms, which prompts the former superhero to slap Shelton right in the face! The referee counts this as a tag and Shelton is forced to leave the ring angrily, staring down Helms. Hurricane sees Punk climbing to his feet next to the ring apron and bounces off the ropes, attempting to hit his adversary with a baseball slide. Punk moves out of the way but Helms lands on his feet, only to be hit with an elbow to the face from Punk, before being thrown back into the ring. Punk quickly follows before lifting Helms up onto his shoulders for the GTS. As he prepares to deliver the move, William Regal walks out onto the ramp. Punk drops Hurricane and tries to goad Regal to come down to the ring. Benjamin blind tags himself in as this goes on, running into the ring and rolling up Punk. The referee begins the count, but doesn’t notice Shelton has a handful of tights! One, Two, Three!

Shelton Benjamin & Hurricane Helms win by pinfall
Smackdown! gets the second and third draft pick

Punk gets up angrily as Regal walks backstage, CM chasing after him. Shelton turns around to gloat, but is nailed with the United States Championship belt by Hurricane Helms. The crowd pop as Helms stands in the ring, smiling cheekily with the belt over his shoulder.

JR: And another draft pick for Smackdown!

Striker: Looks like the implosion of Regal and Punk happened a lot earlier than any of us expected

King: It’s alright, Raw is going to bounce back bigger and better with the next match.

The camera pans up to the big screen as we see the pictures flashing for yet another Smackdown draft pick. Chris Jericho…Mike Knox…Rob Van Dam…Tommy Dreamer…Randy Orton…the reel stops on the Worlds Strongest Man, Mark Henry

Mark Henry drafted to Smackdown!

JR: Wow! A huge pick-up for Smackdown, no pun intended of course

We move back to the screen as the reel spins again for Smackdowns third draft pick. Jack Swagger…TJ Wilson…Shawn Michaels…The Miz…Kane…the reel stops on the 2008 Superstar of the Year, Chris Jericho!

Chris Jericho drafted to Smackdown!

Striker: If I may be excused for copyright infringement, oh my God!

King: No, this can’t be happening

JR: It is King, looks like 2009 is going to be the year of Smackdown!

Commerical Break.

We return to see Todd Grisham backstage with the newest draftee, Chris Jericho.

Grisham: Please welcome my guest at this time, the newest member of the Smackdown roster, Chris Jericho. Chris, how does it feel to know you’re going to be leaving Raw and returning to Smackdown after a 7 year absence?

Jericho: Todd, it feels just the same as here. The landscape is no different, it’s just a different bunch of hypocrites and liars littering the show. The fools are all still parading around doing their little acts, shaving away the tiny shreds of dignity that remained. There’s guys who think they’re some kind of dead zombie, wandering the earth seeking for one last shot at glory. There’s a hillbilly who parades his mentally impaired friend out for a cheap pop, humiliating him just to make a buck. A drug addict uses his troubled history of suspension and overdosage to garner sympathy. The so-called champion parades around with his wife, using her to his advantage at every turn. Smackdown is just another place where the 2008 Superstar of the Year, Chris Jericho will silence the hypocrites and claim his rightful spot on top of the mountain.

Todd: If you win the Elimination Chamber at No Way Out, do you intend to return to Raw with the belt or take it over to Smackdown?

Jericho: Not if Todd, but when. When I win, I will take my championship over to Smackdown, where I will defeat whatever circus clown holds the WWE Championship to become Undisputed Champion yet again. Todd to tell you the truth, I’m beginning to get a little excited thinking of the prospect of destroying the Smackdown roster and taking my place at the top of the mountain as an honest man, not as a “Deadman†or any other of the foolish monikers those idiots accept and wear with pride.

Todd: Thank you for your time Chris

----

Striker: Harsh and scathing words there from Chris Jericho

JR: I just can’t wait to see him every week

Striker: No need to get facetious JR, let’s get on with the show

King: Come on Raw, we’ve gotta win this one!

Matt Hardy (ECW) vs. Kofi Kingston (Raw)

As Kofi makes his high energy entrance down to the ring, he is attacked from behind by Matt Hardy with a steel chair. Hardy begins to brutalise the Jamaican Sensation with the chair, slamming it across his back several times. Kingston appears to be out, as Matt delivers a Twist of Hate on the steel ramp. Matt isn’t finished however, as he grabs a ladder from under the ring. After slamming the weapon into the body of Kofi several times, Matt ascends to the top of it. After mocking his brothers trademark hand signs, he leaps off and leg drops Kingston from the top of the ladder. Matt stares down at the broken Kingston happily, rolling him into the ring and the referee counting to three.

Matt Hardy wins by pinfall
ECW gets the fourth draft pick

Striker: Surely that can’t count

JR: That was just malicious, hopefully No Way Out will be the last time we have to see Matt Hardy here in WWE

The camera focuses on the screen as the reel begins to spin. R-Truth…Curt Hawkins…CM Punk…Hurricane Helms…Undertaker…the reel stops on the Self-Made Millionaire, John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield

John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield drafted to ECW

King: You’ve got to be kidding me! This night just keeps getting worse for Raw

Striker: One man’s pain is another man’s pleasure, and I am ecstatic about this big pick for ECW. The ends have certainly justified the means, JBL has become a part of Extreme Championship Wrestling

Commercial Break.

JR: It’s time for the next draft pick, maybe Raw’s string of bad luck could end here

King: Oh, I sincerely doubt it JR :(

Striker: Pessimism isn’t going to get you far King, but the undefeated Moscow Mauler, Vladimir Koslov certainly will be a monstrous mountain for Jamie Noble to climb

Vladimir Koslov (Smackdown!) vs. Jamie Noble (Raw)

Jamie Noble stands in the ring fearfully as the Moscow Mauler makes his intimidating walk to the ring. Koslov climbs in and Jamie tries to get on the offensive, but Vladimir immediately knocks him away. Noble, like a pit-bull, charges straight back at Koslov, only to receive a boot straight into the jaw for his efforts. From this point the match is Koslov’s, drilling Noble with a power slam followed up by an elbow directly into the sternum. The lifeless Noble is lifted to his feet by Koslov, who throws him into the ropes and nails him with a stiff head butt on the rebound. From there it’s academic, Koslov getting the three count and beating Jamie Noble in less than a minute.

Vladimir Koslov wins by pinfall
Smackdown! gets the fifth draft pick

King: This can’t be happening

Striker: Noble did his best to put up some kind of a fight, but it seems tonight it wasn’t the size of fight in the dog, it was the size of the dog in the fight

The reel begins to spin once again. Cody Rhodes…DH Smith…The Boogeyman…Charlie Haas…Shawn Michaels…the reel stops, and lands on the Legend Killer, Randy Orton!

Randy Orton drafted to Smackdown!

King: What!

JR: Bah gawd, what an incredible pick for Smackdown!

Striker: Smackdown! certainly has been on quite a roll at Raw’s expense tonight, the 2009 Royal Rumble winner is heading over to Friday Nights

King: There’s something wrong here, this has to be rigged

JR: Don’t be such a sore loser King, there’s still plenty of picks to come

Commercial Break.

Priceless (Raw) vs. Jesse & Festus (Smackdown!) (Double Draft Pick)

The bell rings and of course, Festus changes from stoic farm boy to psychotic monster. Priceless wait on the outside as Festus moves onto the apron, Jesse deciding to start the match. Cody Rhodes slides into the ring and as the two men move in to lock-up, launches his boot into the mid-section of Jesse, before sending clubbing blows raining down upon the upper back of his opponent. Rhodes grabs Jesses by the hair and slams his skull into the top turnbuckle, before delivering several forearms to the jaw. Cody swings again but the move is ducked, and Jesse spins the former World Tag Team Champion into the corner. Jesse delivers a Monkey Flip to Rhodes and then turns around, charging towards Cody. The son of the Hall of Famer, Dusty Rhodes, gets up only to be met with a slobber knocker of a clothesline. Jesse goes for the victory but Cody kicks out at two.

Jesse moves over to his corner and tags in the corn-fed colossus Festus, as Rhodes manages to tag in a reluctant Ted DiBiase. Festus charges forward, but DiBiase ducks under a clothesline attempt and tries to take Festus down with lefts and rights. Festus is seemingly unaffected as he shoves DiBiase away, before nailing him in the face with a big boot. Festus now bounces off the ropes, hitting a groggy DiBiase with a duo of leaping shoulder blocks. Ted springs back to his feet again only to have Festus charge towards him for a bicycle kick. The son of the Million Dollar Man somehow rolls out of the way, Festus’ getting hung up on the top rope. As Festus tries to get off, DiBiase runs through and kicks his leg out from underneath him before dragging Festus to the centre of the ring. After a few well-placed stomps to the calf and knee, DiBiase tags in his partner Cody Rhodes. Rhodes grabs Festus’ leg by the ankle, before tugging, twisting and contorting it into awkward positions. This was all just a segue though, as Cody places Festus into a spinning toe hold. The Corn-Fed Colossus looks to be out, before Jesse starts to get the crowd to will the big man on. Festus slowly begins to crawl towards the ropes. As he is about to reach them, Ted distracts the referee so he doesn’t see Festus get to the bottom rope! Rhodes releases the hold and pulls Festus back into the centre of the ring, laughing happily.

Rhodes attempts to put Festus into another spinning toe hold, but he kicks the former World Tag Team Champion off into the turnbuckle. Festus gets to his feet and tags in Jesse to a big pop, who goes wild on Cody. Jesse delivers a hard dropkick to Cody, followed up by another when he gets up. Jesse knocks Ted off the turnbuckle as he moves back over to Cody and prepares to deliver a DDT. Cody counters and gets Jesse in position for the Cross Rhodes. Jesse though counters this move as well and rolls Cody up! One, Two, Three!!

Jesse & Festus win by pinfall
Smackdown! gets the sixth and seventh draft pick

King: Something is definitely wrong here

JR: Looks like Raw just can’t hang with Smackdown’s incredible talent

We see the draft reel come up on the big screen. Kane…JTG…Shawn Michaels…Mike Knox…Rey Mysterio…the reel stops on none other than the man who will challenge for the Intercontinental Championship at No Way Out, William Regal

William Regal drafted to Smackdown!

Striker: Raw’s roster is really being drained tonight, but Smackdown’s stock is sky rocketing

King: :nonono: This couldn’t possibly get any worse

The images flash again for the next draft pick. John Cena…Charlie Haas…CM Punk…Ted DiBiase…Jamie Noble…the reel stops on former World Heavyweight Champion, Rey Mysterio!

Rey Mysterio drafted to Smackdown!

Striker: Looks like it just did King

JR: Rey Mysterio heading back over to Smackdown!

Striker: An interesting note, this now marks 50% of the combatants in the World Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber at No Way Out are official competitors on other shows

King: This is a very dark night for Raw

Commercial Break.

‘Voices’ plays to a tremendous barrage of heat as the Legend Killer, Randy Orton walks down the ramp to the ring.

King: This show just got a whole lot worse, at least this will be the last time we see Randy Orton on Raw

Striker: His actions last week were inexcusable, I wonder what he has to say for himself

Orton: Now, as I’m sure you all know, last week Stephanie McMahon was the deserving recipient of an RKO. I don’t care how many of you are ‘disgusted’ or ‘appalled’, if she wants to be treated like a lady, she should act like a lady! But now I’m over on Smackdown, I won’t have to worry about Stephanie McMahon and her petty vendetta against me. There’s only one McMahon left to deal with; Vince. And after No Way Out, he’ll be joining his daughter Stephanie on the sidelines, when he loses this company he holds so dear. Then for Shan-

‘No Chance’ plays over the loud speakers to a massive ovation, Orton with a look of shock on his face as Vince McMahon walks out onto the stage! Randy is speechless as Vince takes the mic

Vince: Randy, you’ve kicked me in the head. You’ve kicked my son in the grapefruits last week. But now, you’ve taken it too far. I’m sure you didn’t expect to see me here tonight, but after the news of Shane adding the stipulation of me putting my position of Chairman on the line, I had to train even harder and recover even faster. Orton, I won’t stand idly by while you brutalize my family, abuse the fans and attempt to bring down the company that I built. Randy, at No Way Out, you have no chance in-

Orton: Don’t even bother finishing that sentence Vince. You know, I remember a time when we shared the same attitude. The same disdain for the lowly idiots in the crowd. The same desire to do anything to get to the top. But Vince, you’ve changed. You’re out of touch. It’s time for a new era within this company, one with you not involved. It’s time for me to take Old Yeller round the back and take him out once and for all.

Vince: So that’s what you think? Randy, as of right now, I am still Chairman of the company. Shane did a mighty fine job in my absence, but now I’ve got an idea of my own. This Friday night, me and Shane are going to be there as you have your own little warm-up match for No Way Out. Your Smackdown return couldn’t be any bigger because Orton, you’re going to one on one, inside a Steel Cage, with the Undertaker!

The crowd pop big time as Orton seems unfazed

Orton: I hope you’re watching that match closely Vince, because what I do to Undertaker this Friday night will be nothing compared to the trauma you’re going to endure at No Way Out.

Randy drops the mic and leaves through the crowd, Vince standing on the ramp with a gleam on his face

Striker: Wow! Vince McMahon returns earlier than expected, and makes that huge match for Friday Night Smackdown

King: Stop rubbing it in

--A video package is shown highlighting the Wrestlemania Career of Shawn Michaels. It begins with clips of his early Rockers matches, before a montage of the Wrestlemania X Ladder match. It highlights HBK vs. Hart from Wrestlemania XII, Wrestlemania XIX against Chris Jericho, the interpromotional match with Kurt Angle from Wrestlemania 21, followed by footage of his clashes with Cena and Vince. Finally, a longer section is dedicated to the match with Ric Flair. The package ends with the WM 25 logo flashing on screen with the words ‘55 Days Till Wrestlemania 25â€--

Striker: And of course the talk of the town has been, who will Shawn Michaels face at this years Wrestlemania?

JR: There’s been talk of many big names wishing to challenge Mr. Wrestlemania, but none have been confirmed yet

King: At least he’s still a Raw superstar

JR: Perhaps Shawn will be the man to finally secure Raw a Draft Pick?

Shawn Michaels (Raw) vs. Big Show (Smackdown)

The bell rings and Show immediately shoots his fist forward trying to catch HBK off guard. Michaels is ready though and circles around Show, who cautiously tosses out right hands hoping to catch Michaels. Shawn ducks under a right hand and moves behind the Big Show, jumping onto his back and putting him into a Sleeper Hold. Show doesn’t falter though and rips HBK off his back, flipping him back first down to the canvas. Michaels clutches his lower back as Big Show lifts him up by the hair throwing him into the ropes. Shawn though clings onto the top rope and stops himself from getting a boot to the jaw courtesy of the Big Show. The Worlds Largest Athlete charges forward towards his opponent, only to have HBK low bridge Show to the outside of the ring. Show tumbles to the outside and when he gets up to his feet, is hit with a plancha from Mr. Wrestlemania.

Michaels and Big Show both climb to their feet at roughly the same time. Michaels attempts to roll Show back into the ring, but is forced backwards, kidney first into the barricade. Big Show then launches his boot into the face off HBK, sending him tumbling out into the crowd. The referee is up to a count of 5, so the Worlds Largest Athlete rolls in and out of the ring to break the count. Shawn is slowly getting up in the crowd as Big Show grabs him by the hair, lifting him up by the head and flipping him over onto the floor. Show once again pulls a weakened HBK to his feet and throws him into the ring. One, Two-No. Shawn kicks out.

Show laughs cheekily as he steps onto the back of Shawn, placing all of his weight on the surgically repaired back of HBK. Shawn writhes in pain as Big Show taunts the crowd, getting massive heat as he does so. Show bounces off the ropes and leaps into the air for a leg drop. The Heartbreak Kid manages to roll out of the way in time though, Show crashing arse first into the mat. HBK gets to his feet and bounces off the ropes, crashing into Big Show with his signature forearm smash when the Giant is back onto his feet. Both men lay on the mat, the referee beginning the count. At 5, Shawn kips up to a big pop from the crowd, and climbs onto the top rope. HBK flies off and connects with the elbow drop right to the sternum of Big Show, the crowd going wild as The Icon gets to his feet and starts to tune up the band. Show climbs to his feet as Michaels moves in for the kill. Show though is ready and stops HBK’s foot before it gets to him, before launching his fist staright at the face of Shawn. The Heartbreak Kid moves out of the way though, before connecting with Sweet Chin Music! One, Two, Three

Shawn Michaels wins by pinfall
Raw gets the eight draft pick

King: Yes! Yes! Yes!

Striker: Raw’s string of terrible luck has ended with a big win by Mr. Wrestlemania

The reel begins to spin for Raw’s first draft pick. Triple H…Edge…Festus…Hurricane Helms…Christian…the reel stops the current reigning United States Champion, Shelton Benjamin

United States Champion, Shelton Benjamin drafted to Raw

Striker: The United States Championship is heading across to Raw

King: As great as Shelton is, it’s hardly a fair trade

JR: Well, if your lucky you might win the Battle Royal which will give Raw a huge three draft picks. That match is coming up right after this break folks

Commercial Break.

JR: Welcome back, it’s time for the biggest match of the night

Striker: Jim speaks of course of the 15 Man Battle Royal involving men from Raw, Smackdown and ECW, all competing to win their brands a Triple Draft Pick

King: Come on Raw, we’ve gotta catch back up!

Main Event
15 Man Battle Royal
World Heavyweight Champion, John Cena (Raw) vs. JTG (Raw) vs. Shad (Raw) vs. United States Champion, Shelton Benjamin (Raw) vs. Dolph Ziggler (Raw) vs. Mike Knox (Raw) vs. Mark Henry (Smackdown) vs. WWE Champion, Edge (Smackdown) vs. Rey Mysterio (Smackdown) vs. Chris Jericho (Smackdown) vs. Jeff Hardy (Smackdown) vs. R-Truth (Smackdown) vs. Rob Van Dam (ECW) vs. ECW Champion, Jack Swagger (ECW) vs. Finlay (ECW)
(Triple Draft Pick)

The bell rings and the in-ring action is too chaotic too call, pandemonium ensuing as all of the teams battle in the crowded ring. On the edge of the screen we can see the first two eliminations, Mark Henry clotheslining both member of Cryme Tyme, JTG and Shad over the top rope and down to the floor.

Elimination #1 and Elimination #2: JTG (Raw) and Shad (Raw)

The fight continues, as we see the ECW stars ganging up on R-Truth, the rest of Raw and Smackdown engaging in their own personal melees. Edge is very close to being eliminated by Shelton Benjamin, but Chris Jericho makes the save and Edge rolls back into the ring under the bottom rope. Several Smackdown stars then make the save for a downed R-Truth, Edge and Jericho forcing Finlay over the top rope.

Elimination #3: Finlay (ECW)

John Cena is caught in the corner by Mark Henry and Rey Mysterio but manages to fight his way out with a little help from Mike Knox. Chris Jericho and Edge stay together, working over the ECW Champion, Jack Swagger and Rob Van Dam. Jeff Hardy trades blows with Shelton Benjamin, whom he manages to toss over the top rope. Shelton though stays on the apron, prompting Hardy to charge towards him. This is a bad idea it turns out, as Shelton low bridges Jeff Hardy, the Charismatic Enigma’s own momentum sending him down to the floor.

Elimination #4: Jeff Hardy (Smackdown)

Edge and Jericho continue their assault on the ECW stars, before grouping their efforts and trying to get RVD over the top. Cena continues to battle with Rey Mysterio, getting the upper hand once he gets Rey onto his shoulders for the FU. R-Truth and Mark Henry fight with Dolph Ziggler and Mike Knox as the World Heavyweight Champion moves over to the ropes, delivering the FU to Mysterio all the way down to the floor!

Elimination #5: Rey Mysterio (Smackdown)

As this happens, R-Truth manages to send Dolph Ziggler down to the floor, only to have Mike Knox sneak up behind him and power him over the top rope. As Knox turns around, the Worlds Strongest Man, Mark Henry, charges forward and uses his immense power and weight to send Knox down to the floor to join Dolph and R-Truth.

Elimination #6, Elimination #7 and Elimination #8: Dolph Ziggler (Raw), R-Truth (Smackdown) and Mike Knox (Raw)

This leaves John Cena and Shelton Benjamin as the only remaining Raw superstars, the World Heavyweight Champion turning his attention to Mark Henry as Benjamin has a breather in the corner. Edge and Jericho still haven’t managed to eliminate RVD, as Swagger and Van Dam get the advantage for ECW. Henry places the World Heavyweight Champion into a vicious bear hug, trying to weaken him enough to toss him over the top rope. Rob Van Dam and Jack Swagger try to toss Jericho out over the top, but Edge runs through and makes the save for Smackdown with a Spear to RVD, giving Jericho the opening to drill Jack with a Codebreaker, sending the groggy champion stumbling out over the top rope.

Elimination #9: ECW Champion, Jack Swagger (ECW)

Y2J turns around to see Shelton Benjamin flying towards him, the 2008 superstar of the year getting hit with a hard kick to the face. The WWE Champion Edge continues to work over RVD. Mark Henry is still trying to get John over the top rope, but the World Heavyweight Champion has transitioned the bear hug into a front facelock, and in an image very reminiscent of the 2004 Royal Rumble, Cena manages to use all his willpower and strength to pull Henry over the top rope and down to the floor!

Elimination #10: Mark Henry (Smackdown)

In the middle of the ring, Jericho has managed to put the US Champion into the Walls of Jericho. Rob Van Dam has the WWE Champion, Edge standing groggily on the ropes. He attempts a spinning heel kick, but the crafty champion counters and dumps RVD over the top rope to the outside, ECW out of the Battle Royal

Elimination #11: Rob Van Dam (ECW)

This leaves just four men; World Heavyweight Champion, John Cena and United States Champion, Shelton Benjamin from Raw and WWE Champion, Edge and 2008 Superstar of the Year, Chris Jericho from Raw. Edge and Cena, men with a bloody history between one another, trade fists in the centre of the ring while Y2J tries to dump Benjamin to the outside. Edge gets the upper hand and Irish whips John into the ropes, only to have Cena come flying back with a hard-hitting shoulder block. Jericho tries to clothesline Benjamin over the top rope, but is hit with the Paydirt! Cena puts Edge onto his shoulders for the FU, but the move is countered by the Rated R Superstar into the Edgecution. Edge looks over and sees Shelton trying to dump his Smackdown colleague Chris Jericho over the top rope, so he moves over and low blows the United States Champion, before tossing him over the top rope, leaving Raw at a 2-to-1 disadvantage.

Elimination #12: United States Champion, Shelton Benjamin (Smackdown)

The battling World Heavyweight Champion, John Cena climbs up to his feet, only to be met with a vicious Spear from Edge. Y2J, never to miss an opportunity to kick a man while he’s down, springboards off the second rope and delivers the Lionsault to the already battered World Heavyweight Champion. Edge laughs as the two men slowly lift up the body of Cena and drag him over to the ropes. The crowd pop big time as Cena begins to fight back with rights and lefts to his Smackdown adversary’s, the two men falling backwards giving Cena some room to breath. Jericho quickly runs back at Cena, only to be on the receiving end of a hard clothesline. Edge does the same, but Cena ducks and the WWE Champion gets hit with a spinning power bomb. John smiles as he walks over to the head of Edge, does his trademark hand gesture as the crowd yell ‘You Can’t See Me’ before bouncing off the ropes to hit the Five Knuckle Shuffle. The World Heavyweight Champion can’t connect with the move though, as Chris Jericho catches him off-guard and delivers a jaw-shattering Codebreaker. Cena falls to the mat as Y2J sneers, dragging John towards the ropes and trying to push him over. Soon, we can hear the WWE Champion, Edge, screaming for Jericho to move out of the way as he bounces off the ropes and runs towards Cena. The WWE Champion tries to deliver his trademark spear, but the Dr. of Thuganomics moves out of the way and tosses Edge over the top rope and down to the floor!

Elimination #13: WWE Champion, Edge (Smackdown)

This leaves only two men left; World Heavyweight Champion, John Cena and the man he defeated for that championship, Y2J, Chris Jericho. Cena takes advantage early on, throwing Y2J into the ropes and going for a back drop. Jericho counters though, kicking John in the face and following that up with a running step-up enzuigiri. Jericho sneers and rubs his hands together as Cena moves over to the ropes, trying to pull himself up. Jericho charges forward and attempts another Codebreaker, looking to finish off the weary champion. The World Heavyweight Champion however displays his incredible strength, grabbing Chris in mid-move and dumping him over the top rope and down to the floor.

Elimination #14: Chris Jericho (Smackdown)

First of all Pat, very good choice of commentators and they are all very well done, next the colors are like really trippy. The first match was well done but there was one thing that rewally annoyed me and that was the ending, it seemed as if Morrison was standing as he got thrown in the ring. Other then that it was a good match that was heavy on description but just that tad bit short. No, you can not have Miz and Morrison split or I will not be that happy. Now Morrison on Smackdown, I happen to agree with this choice as the he seems to fit Smackdown well.

Where's the promos, 2 matches and no promos is really bad, this show should be prmo heavy to make it really good. the match should have been longer but it telled a good story so it is pretty well done. I woiuld have liked to see more between Helms and Benjamin other then the blind tag and the slap. Other then leaving him at the start of the match, what did Regal do when Punk was trying to goad him into the ring, seems confusing. The draft picks are pretty weird with Henry and Jericho, looks like you are trying to stack the SD roster.

I liked the Chris Jericho interview as it was in character and well done. I would of liked to see what you could of done to make it longer but I guess that is what you wanted to do. This match was weird, seemed Matt went to far in the attack and some of it just seemed pointless to do, now lerts see this draft pick. JBL to ECW, I do not like rthis decision and it just seems pointless. He just is there for star power and I don't see why he is put in this position on the card.

Well this was another squash match, it has no need for it and what is up with the squashs. Orton, Orton, Orton, why the hell is he going to Smackdown, you are over stacking Smackdown which is just not good to me. Good match in which you captured both teams perfectly and the draft picks where quite good choices as well.

This promo was bad, both men were out of character to me and it seemed as though you did not want to try, at times Orton was in character but Vince was way out to me. The Undertaker steel cage match seemed to remind me of real life Raw but yeah, I guess it is right. Again Vince was very out of character. The match was pretty good except for the selling of Shawn in the last part of the match. Also, I don't reckon the flying forearm would have taken Show down that easily. Benjamin, okay then pointless with the US title on RAW.

The Battle Royale was alright, not the best I have seen but alright. You have some very weird spots there and I don't like the way you set the eliminations out with it evening out with 2 vs 2 vs 2. You had a predictable winner in Raw with the others. Other then that pretty good.

Overall: Whats up with only 2 promos man, you need more than that and leading to a PPV, that is just crazy. Other then that the show was quite good minus the few errors and the things I pointed out. The draft was not done well, it set out for quite a predictable No Way Out as you have both midcard and main event titles on Raw, that is crazy. Oh and love the colors, I gotta read more just to see you dig yourself out of this position.

Best Match: I am going with the Shawn Michaels one as the best match when pertains to the emotional part, there are still some questions who will be Shawn Michaels and I wonder who will it be. The other match that looks good in my eyes is the John Morrison/Carlito match, I was totally shocked in this match though not because you drafted him to Raw but you let him lose!

Worst Match: Well, there goes the Big Chin Award Nominee (from Dirt Sheet) Vladimir Koslov brutalizing poor Jamie Noble.

Best Promo: There are only two promos here and I say both are good. VKM/Orton promo added some heat to their match at NWO and the one with Jericho is hell fun to read! He should be the leader of AOTF imo...

Worst Promo: Hmmm... how 'bout that Matt Hardy/Kofi Kingston one :p but nah, I'll go with this one "JR: "

Additional Feedbacks: I totally LMAO'd with the colors! It's like a Powerpuff Girls thing! You're totally the MAN! Damn, add those smilies to that! On the other part, well, the draft pick makes me say "DAMN!" some of the picks are quite unpredictable. Questions come flying like, Are we going to see a title unification match between Punk and Benjamin? Will this be the time for John Morrison? What the hell will happen to JBL on ECW? and What do I care about Mark Henry (lol just kidding)? A good first show far... keep up the font colors err... I mean the good work!

BM- I'll choose both the Carlito/Morrison match and the HBK/Big Show matches here, they were both equally good. You wrote both Shawn and TBS quite well though you made Show look a little weak down the back end, with an example being how he was knocked down with a Shoulder Block and stayed down after that. Carlito vs Morrison would have been better but it was very predictable to me, I expected Carlito to win and Mizorrison to split. Push Morrison. :y:

WM- I'll skip the squash, as it served it's purpose, and say that the Hardy and Kofi match was the worst. The attack put over Hardy's charachter well but it went too far imo, he didn't need to get the ladder out, that was overkill it seemed for a normal attack. And poor Kofi, he always seems to be a victim. :p

BP- I'll go with the Chris Jericho promo here, when I was reading it really seemed like one he would do in real life. But please, don't have him cut promos like this every week otherwise it would get really repetitive. I know it is his charachter but doing the same promo week after week as he is irl now, is bad tbh. Throw the phrase 'ass clown' in there a few times and i'll be happy. :shifty:

WP- Only one other promo and it was worse than the Jericho one, but still not bad. I see you are turning Orton into a more evil and less guilty charachter, who doesn't care about kicking his boss or a woman in the head, as he didn't care at all about facing the Undertaker. Remorseful Orton could be good, just make sure to keep him that way. :yesyes:

AC- Your matches were pretty good, kinda like my new style with a little more emotion which is good. The promos were good but they were severely lacking, at least 3 more should have been added to the show. The colours were quite epilepsy inducing and please, but down for next time. The smileys were a nice touch and added lolz, but they made the BTB seem a little unproffesional and childish. The draft picks were pretty good and shook up the title matches, now I see Jericho, Edge, Benjamin and Regal winning, to completely reverse the titles around, which would be a good surprise. Smackdown looks pretty stacked now and Raw slightly less but ECW kinda stayed the same. Pity. I was kinda wanting something to get raped. :smileysex:
