-- According to some fan reports from tonight's Raw in Nashville, Jamie Noble was taken from the ring on a stretcher following his brief match with Mike Knox. While it was not shown during the broadcast, Noble was loaded onto the stretcher and taken from the ring while the Chris Jericho/Ricky Steamboat segment was taking place on stage. Stay tuned for an update on the story.

And here's an update that they posted a bit later:

-- As reported this evening, Jamie Noble was taken from the ring on a stretcher following his brief match with Mike Knox on Raw. For those wondering about the legitimacy of the injury, it definitely looks that way.

According to a fan in attendance at the event, "people were running around like crazy trying to get the medics, stretcher, etc." Medics tended to Noble while the entire Chris Jericho and Ricky Steamboat segment was taking place on the nearby stage. Medics spent at least ten minutes in the ring with Noble.

If you look back at the tape, Noble strangely had his legs bent and in the air instead of flat on the mat immediately following his pinfall loss to Knox.

No word yet on the severity or nature of Noble's injury.

Sounds pretty bad.

EDIT:

Another report on it:
-For those who couldn't see it from our view, which was solid, it looked like Noble landed on the top of his head when he took Mike Knox's finisher. He was moving his arms and legs the whole time, which is good, but I doubt he'll be at Mania now. It was obvious the Steamboat
bit with Jericho was meant to take place in the ring, but couldn't b/c they had to move Noble. Micheal Cole had to hual you-know-what at the last minute to get up to the ramp for the bit.

Poor Noble, this may mean he gets released in the near future.

Poor Noble, this may mean he gets released in the near future.

He helps out backstage with the younger guys too as a road agent, which is probably why he plays the jobbing role, so hopefully he isn't fired because of his injury. He can still play a role backstage while injured.

Crap to se him injured, because Noble is definitely one of the most talented wrestlers going around. It's just too bad his talent is the reason he jobs to the likes of Knox.

I think Noble is like a producer/trainer like guy. Sucks though.

I doubt he'll get fired. Just 5 months ago he was in charge of an entire division, so obviously WWE trusts on him

I thought this was going to be about Shawn Michaels. JBL hit the hell out of his mouth.

Hopefully Noble recovers well. He's pure entertainment. I'm waiting for him or Helms to bring back the CW Title. I'm sure that weekly timed match thing was going to lead somewhere eventually. Not sure where but yea

Damn that sucks. He was just starting to get tv time again. But wasn't he moved to ECW? Didn't he say they lost star power when Matt left so now he's on there (ECW) or somthing like that?

Yeah, he was. But they apparently decided to move him right back.

That sucks for Jamie. He seems like a good guy, and fills a comedy role good. Hope he gets better.

It's kinda hard to tell which one actually injured him. He took that kick from Knox really hard as well. But yeah, he did land very awkwardly off of the finisher.

Apparently it was just a stinger, and he's alright now. Here's a fan video of them working on Noble in the ring:
