I love the Misfits, but I haven't really listened to them in a while. Danzig's voice is what made the band. Without him, they wouldn't really be as influential as they are.

Isn't that Metallica's song? Or did they cover the Misfits?

They covered them. Metallica also covered Green Hell and Last Caress. Both good covers.

No, and I'm not sure which one your confusing the name with. Either way, the original Misfits broke up the same year that Metallica's first album came out. The closest Misfits came to covering them is in the 1999 song "Helena"; there's a part that sounds similar to the fast part in "Welcome Home (Sanitarium)."

Metallica also covered Green Hell and Last Caress. Both good covers.
