^^^^I think the two reasons why Edge doesn't get as much hate as HHH are these:

1)The obvious one. He's not married to Stephanie McMahon.

"WAAAAIT" cry the not-so-smart-smarks, getting it all typically twisted... "He IS married to Vicki G tho'!"

There are so many possibilities it is not funny. Until we see Raw tonight and see which Champ is on Raw and which Contender is on Raw we won't know what is happening for Mania.

a) Triple H could go to Raw and face Randy Orton the RR Winner
b) Triple H could go to Raw and face the former champ *clause* John Cena
c) Randy Orton could loop hole over to Smackdown to face Edge While Triple H is on Raw with Cena
d) Randy Orton could loop hole over to Smackdown to face Triple H while Edge is on Raw with Cena
e) Edge could go to Raw and face Orton the RR Winner
f) Edge could go to Raw and face Cena the rematch clause the man he beat
g) AND THE EVERYONE'S FAVORITE ~ MANY VARIATIONS OF TRIPLE THREAT MATCHES THAT CAN BE... Cena vs. Edge vs. Orton or Cena vs. Orton vs. Triple H.

SO until we know which brand the Champ is on and which brand the Challenger is on with Raw tonight. There are many possibilities and it is near impposible to guess the right one imo/

I'm still going with what I said after the ppv, I think it's going to be a fatal-4-way for both the WWE title and the World Heavy Weight title. A lot of people are saying the Cena has his rematch clause, and he'll use that against Edge, fair enough. But doesn't Edge have a rematch clause as well? So he uses his against Triple H. That would be the Triple treat. But you still have Orton who won the rumble, so that would make it a fatal 4 way. It makes since to me.

Yes but why would they unify the titles? that doesn't make sense to me JB ^.

2)None of Edge's title reigns have been all that long.

Basically, Edge has been the ultimate transitional champion for the past 3 years. That's probably why people don't complain about him.
You forgot one:

3) Edge actually loses cleanly.

Seriously, when was the last time HHH just plain lost? One on one, clean, his opponent hits his finisher, shoulders down, three count, end of match? 2007 maybe? That's why people hate him. He's goddamn invincible.

You know I looked it up and as much as I am a HUGE triple H mark; there are times where I can't defend arguements that are backed up with the folllowing facts.

Triple H only lossed 3 PPV's out of 12 in 2008 - WM (triple threat), SS (triple threat) and Armageddon (yes a triple threat)
Triple H only got pinned in one of them.

@Ninja-Star (your still Ninja-Star, not Evil Austin)

It doesn't have to be for title unification, they can still keep both belts, they could have 1st fall is for one title and the 2nd fall is for another, there's different ways for it to play out. But with all of them in the match, it does make since. Everyone is saying Cena has his rematch clause but doesn't Edge have one too? Was there something in his contract that said "If you lose your title you are guaranteed a rematch. But if you win another world title, you don't"? I highly doubt that.

^^^Re: Rematches.... What point exactly are you clinging to.

Cena shouldn't get a rematch because Edge would have got one should he have not left NWO with a world title?

...Maybe, just maybe, he'll get one against HHH on SD this Friday for a chance to be come a unified champ?

Whatever, I don't see why one effects the other.

i just posted the thing about edge in another thread. and triple h loses cleanly.....i think the last couple of times were jeff? im really sleepy and cant remember but you know, even if he doesn't lose cleanly he's not half as bad as cena was/is.

btw i said it in the shitbox, this shit is out of hands. lock all these threads and lets start posting in ONE. this is becoming confusing. we dont need to have a thread for each superstar.

I know no one really has, but if anyone complains about hunters reigns building up so fast, he's only had 13 over a 10 year span. Edge has had 8 in just over 3 years. So, Edge has had more than half of HHH's reigns already and in about 1/3 of the time.

Yeah, Edge has been given many title reigns and a few short ones at that but Edge is given those reigns where as HHH takes/asks for reigns which is why he is so hated.

For the record, HHH didn't lose to Jeff, he beat him a few times and then lost to Edge or someone which wasn't cleanly and was really quite confusing.

Funnily enough, ratings went up when Edge won the belt the first time. Only for him to lose it in 3 weeks...

But when you think about it, most of Edge's reigns have been transitional, or simply being in the right place at the right time.

They had to take the belt off Rob Van Dam, gave it to Edge for a month or so. Undertaker is injured, so is Kennedy, Edge to the rescue. WWE needed a swerve at ONS, give the belt to Edge so he can hold it for Punk. Once again WWE desired a swerve (or they just didn't want Triple H to be pinned by Jeff, you decided) so Edge gets the belt for a month.
