Former WWE/ECW Star Confirmed To Be Joining TNA's Roster

We reported earlier that TNA has expressed interest in bringing in former WWE/ECW talent Stevie Richards. The Wrestling Observer is now confirming that TNA has announced Stevie will be joining their roster. Richards is apparently on close terms with Terry Taylor, who is TNA's head of talent relations.

WTF is wrong with TNA?! They don't have the money to renew Petey Williams contract but somehow find enough money to sign ANOTHER OLD GUY from the WWE?! Don't get me wrong...I totally respect Stevie Richards but the fans are all telling TNA to build up the young guys and they don't listen. In many ways TNA can be compared to that of a Blue child. No matter how many times you yell at em' and critcize them and tell them that what they're doing is wrong...they don't listen and continue to do it anyway. TNA theres a reason your business for pay-per-views have dropped since September of 2008. Pay attention and start listening to the fans!!

I still have the feeling Petey might have asked for his release, unless I missed a report where they fired him.

I read they're bringing him in as Abyys' psychiatrist o something. Who ever Abyys has been saying he's been going to for help. And with Petey, I read they didn't come to an agreement on his contract renewal.

That would be a smart storyine^ I never heard about it anywhere so I might be wrong but I don't think it was 100% confirmed.

I just see him coming in for a few matches getting injured and when he returns he is in the X Division.

It's not 100% confirmed about Stevie's storyline, but all the sites I've read it on says its a high probabilty that that's what he'll be coming in as.

True, I never said it was a bad storyline idea but I think that with TNA anything is possible and everything you want is impossible :shifty:

You know I take back my remark earlier and I think we will see him in a costume and be teamed up with Shark Boy with the new and improved Prince Justice Brotherhood. As we will see Super Stevie

Stevie is still a decent to good wrestler, his matches with Punk and Thorn on ECW the last few years were pretty nice, he should of just won more of them. But he can still go in my opinion, and now he can be treated good. I'm hoping TNA goes after Hardcore Holly too, he can still do some good shit, especially Hardcore matches, no matter how many people hate on him. I'm just sayin...
