"The Rainman" James Jones representing the Heat well tonight.

Blake didn't deserve to win.

Don't see how Blake didn't deserve to win but Ibaka as said did get robbed and should have have had higher scores.

Psych, I don't think you can possibly be more wrong about Carmelo Anthony. Really, I don't. You think the Knicks should trade three or more players, including players who have shown in limited time that they can be impact players, and a pick, for a guy they can get in fucking free agency if he doesn't want to go to the Nets?

http://probasketballtalk.nbcsports....g-“not-confident”-but-knicks-have-own-issues/

This is James Dolan’s show now — he met with Anthony, he and Thomas are calling the shots. This trade, if it goes forward as constructed, is vintage Isiah Thomas-era Knicks. If Anthony will not sign with the Nets, the Knicks are bidding against themselves, so there is no reason to part with three starters. What is more, this deal combined with Amar’e Stoudemire’s and a likely much lower salary cap in a new CBA, will make it very difficult or even impossible to sign a third star like Chris Paul or Deron Williams to go with these two. Melo and Amar’e will be your guys. And you’ll need good role players — like the ones you are trading away — to go around them to make this work at all. This move hamstrings the team for years to come against the cap. It is vintage Thomas.

If Anthony is not going to go to the Nets, the Knick can afford to be patient and lowball the Nuggets, forcing them to take less for fear of getting nothing. Walsh was letting the situation come to him. Dolan and Thomas showed the patience and nuance of a five-year-old. Or a sports talk radio caller.

Pretty much I mean Melo is a great player not gonna call him some ham sandwich or w/e but if Melo really wants to play for the Knicks like he indicated then he won't sign a ldeal with the Nets which means no trade which means the knicks will just get him without having to give up their nice young pieces. You put Melo with that they already have and they actually will be a really good threat in the east.

Who the fuck gives a shit about Melo anymore? I'm so tired of the talk about him. He's past his prime. He sucks. It won't matter where he goes because whatever team it is will still be good or will still suck. He won't have as much impact on a team as people think. On to more important news. I'm gonna have to miss the All-Star Game so I guess I'm gonna have catch the replay on TNT or one of the like 7 times it replays on NBATV.

P1, when did fucking 26 become past your prime when you have never even needed a surgery, broke anything, or tore ligaments? The only chronic problem Melo has ever had was suffering from migraines

What part of the Knicks must renounce Chandler's bird rights this summer to sign Melo don't you and Sal get?

What part of signing for 20 mil less so New York keeps Gallo who can't play 2 or 4 and not even getting the full amount of years or the percentage raises that a tenured bird's right vet in the league would sound appealing to you two, if you are Melo?

Psych, I don't think you can possibly be more wrong about Carmelo Anthony. Really, I don't. You think the Knicks should trade three or more players, including players who have shown in limited time that they can be impact players, and a pick, for a guy they can get in fucking free agency if he doesn't want to go to the Nets?

3 players in the deal are impact players on the Knicks.

Gallo, Felton, and Chandler. The first guy can't play SG or PF so he is useless next to Melo and can only be a 6th man. The other guy would be replaced by Billups who has a huge expiring with a low buyout that teams would jump at, see Dampier this past summer and how the Mavs got Chandler. The last guy is a RFA at the end of the year whose rights the Knicks have to renounce making him unrestricted and losing the right to gover the cap to bring him back just to sign Melo this summer.

With that said, what is their actual impact besides being a .500 ball club. No team with Carmelo Anthony has ever had a losing season record in 7.5 years out WEST, let me say that again in the better conference they have never had a losing record. When you compare Billups and Felton actual impact all you have to do is look at the playoffs where Felton fell flat on his face last year and check the monthly splits which have saw Billups level of play rise and his fall. Let me also add that none of the players moving are better rebounders, scorers, defenders, or draw than Melo by any metric so what do you lose?

Randolph and Curry are a stupid thick headed kid who will be moved for a protected pick and a fat slob who doesn't play so you lose nothing by moving them since they don't see the court at all unless if there is a blowout.

The Knicks wanting to keep Gallo is silly to me. In all honesty I would understand if they wanted to keep Chandler and were willing to move Gallo and Mozgov with Felton, Curry, and Randolph. That deal would make the most sense because Wilson plays best at PF on offense and defense. Amare can continue to play C and Fields would still be there at SG, to go with Melo and Billups. No deal where they keep Gallo makes sense from a roster standpoint unless if they are going to kill Carmelo's knees by making him play PF for 30 minutes a night.

I'm not even a fan of Melo's game. He is one of the best scorers in the league and no way is past his prime. That had to be one of the most idiotic comments I've ever read

How are you not a fan of Melo's game? Offensively, it's nearly identical to LeBron's, except he takes more jumpers.

Rihanna :perv:

Didn't know Kanye was there. =0
