Raw's EC match...

[Seventh Reason]

Definitely not a title match to take seriously - just enjoy the high spots and the novelty of Kofi Kingston and Mike Knox in a title match.

^Yup. It would have put a little more of a threat on his title for those who are complaining about that. It also would have been great for their whole program, could have JBL locking himself in the chamber and waiting for HBK to do all the work..lol.

^^^Yeah, I was looking forward to HBK playing the reluctant bodyguard role in the EC (It's at this point when my initial prediction for this whole saga has started to differ from what is actually transpiring).

I predicted that HBK's failure to secure JBL the title in the chamber was where the sparks would really start to fly betwene the two.

(Main thing that was bugging me about the whole thing was the way JBL was ultra-confident he'd make it to Mania as champ as long as he won @ RR... Getting out of the EC without you title in tact is no mean feat if ya gonna be faced with the likes of Cena; 'bodyguard' or not, especially given the random entry factor.)

RAWs looks like shit imo, Kofi Kingston is just someone who should not be near and Elimination Chamber. I would swap him with CM Punk, I'm not a huge fan of Punk but he has been in one before and would do a better job then Kofi who will probably just be the guy taking all the bumps and then getting thrown out first. Mike Knox shouldn't be in there either, he needs to be built up a little more, WWE are really trying to make this guy big by the looks of things. Having Rey Mysterio in there is good, he should give us our high flying pots to the match and he is really over. Cena and Jericho suit the match, Jericho is like a good in EC tbh. I'm glad HBK and JBL aren't in this match, otherwise they would just have JBL and Michaels team up and fuck everyone up but there would still be the possible HBK turning on him and eliminating him getting them a match at WM. My last guess is Kane, doesn't look to bad but its definitely shit compared to previous years.

Smackdowns looks great, 4 big names already in there and if they keep Kozlov and Khali out there can only be two other good athletes, maybe Jeff and Matt or Benjamin and MVP, either way it should be awesome.

Nobody has a chance. It doesn't matter if you put in JBL, Shawn Michaels, Chris Jericho, Kane, and CM Punk. No matter what, it's blatantly obvious that John Cena is going to win and face Randy Orton at Wrestlemania. So, it's better that they salvage the midcard by having another high-profile match (JBL/Michaels) and let the younger Knox and Kingston get some main event attention.

You also KNOW that Jericho, Kane, and Mysterio won't win, yet nobody (at least that I have read) is complaining that they are in it.

They're deciding to have a possible better match to be on the side instead of blowing up a decent storyline too early in one match (the EC) so I'm glad they're both not in the EC
