Rather than scrap it, I think it should be rescheduled and swapped with another PPV as it now has that gimmick element to it with the Elimination Chambers.

Personally i would scrap No Way Out but not have no event in between, have a Saturday's Night Main Event, most years, it would be good for building up rivalries and would not need any drastic changes or huge gimmicky matches. It would be easy to build up from.

And in this case, it could lead to Orton's rivallry with the McMahons taking a dramatic turn (which im expecting it to happen at No Way Out) without it being so like its No WAy Out and smething like this should have been done at a regular show.

What they could do is offer No Way out a lot cheaper than other PPVs and use it sort of like a mix between the weekly shows and a ppv (have big promos/angles/setup matches, but obviously no blowoffs). This would be ideal for not having a title defense. It could be main evented by a number 1 contender match for the other title. A good example of the main event this year would be Taker vs. HHH.

I think that NWO is necessary, because it builds Mania up kinda like a regular tv show, but with PPV worthy matches.

But it doesn't.
Instead of starting the feud at the Rumble, and carrying it through to Wrestlemania, with No Way Out, a guy wins the Rumble, and doesn't even really get the feud going with the champion until after NWO, because the champ ends up in a different nmulti person feud leading up til No Way out.

It should stay. But WWE should not take away momentum by bringing WM matches already at NWO. The Chambers are a good solution to avoid that.

There's no problem with NWO in itself. Why have a month gap in PPV's between now and WM...WWE is a business, that's what they do, exploit us 50 bucks for a two hour show..lol.

The only thing I think that should be changed about NWO is the Elimination Chamber. It takes the focus off a singular feud going into WM. Instead of focusing on Guy Y vs. Guy X we're now focused on 6 different people going after the title right before Mania.
The Elimination Chamber is a great idea, don't get me wrong. I just think it would be better suited at a different time of year. I would much rather see a solid feud going on between two guys leading into WM than see a disorganized, no backing story elimination match.

I like the no way out concept and ppv. In the UK the ppv is free on sky sports enough said really :p.

You can argue that Cena vs Orton vs HHH started at NWO, and even though Edge was feuding Rey Mysterio, there was already build up for his match against Taker.

I have not seen a feud that really gets affected by No Way Out.

WM17 - Rock wouldn't have even had the belt to face Austin if he hadn't won it from Angle at NWO2001. ;o]

It should stay. But WWE should not take away momentum by bringing WM matches already at NWO. The Chambers are a good solution to avoid that.

So wasting the 2 EC chamber matches for no real purpose is the only way to not have matches at NWO that are due to take place at WM?

How about you suggest an instance where they did do such repetition...?

I can't EVER recall NWO having matches that also took place at WM.
