It looks good for me, Im happy that jericho, mysterio and kingston qualify, With rey and kofi we can see some crazy stuff in the chamber.

Good to see Kofi in the EC. He'll probably be the first guy to get eliminated, but at least its some new blood in a main event match.

HBK and JBL will be the last two participants

Edge vs. Jeff vs. Matt vs. Taker vs. Kozlov vs. HHH for Smackdown.

Tommy or Ricky vs. Jack Swagger. I'm guessing it'll be Ricky, they'll save Tommy vs. Jack for WrestleMania XXV.

I am guessing:
Raw EC: Cena vs Rey vs Kofi vs Jericho vs JBL vs HBK
Smackdown EC: Edge vs Jeff vs Matt vs Christian vs Kozlov vs HHH
ECW Title Match: Swagger vs Ricky Ortiz
IC Title: Punk vs Regal
Taker vs Big Show

Yeah, BUT....

Kofi fuckin' Kingston?????

The Orton/McMahon feud leads to somewhere - why not a Legacy vs. McMahons handicap grudge match?

It would be nice if they'd actually built the storyline first before giving us the pay-off match though, eh?

As for the card, I'm hoping, seeing as the EC-matches should sell themselves, that we'll see a little more mid-card action.... Let's see Shelton & Punk defend their titles and have Mizorrison & Cryme Time's title match too.

My prediction for the EC line-ups:

Raw - Cena, Jericho, Mysterio, JBL (qualifies thanks to HBK sacrificing his spot during a qualification match of some kind)... And as revealed, Kofi. :chokes:

Edit: Takes Kane out as already out of the running thanks to his loss to Kofi...

I guess the last spot will be HBK then, but the problem I see with this is that it's all too predictable.... if he goes in as JBLs 'bodyguard', HBKs left with a choice - Either go for gold and financial stability (and head into WM as champ to face Orton - Been there done that at multiple PPVs during late '07) or assist him in his attempt to win (only to have it foiled a again and have JBL begin treating HBK badly and questioning his desicion to hire Shawn.... JBL winning = JBL/Orton @ mania which is nowhere near being a money match and therefore not gonna happen)....

(Looks like my overall predictions for the HBK/JBL fued are unfolding pretty accurately so far.

SD - Edge, Jeff Hardy, HHH, Taker, Koslov, Big Show.

I don't buy into the idea of Matt Hardy being in there... a) He's not SD and b) He's just lost two straight ECW title matches in a relatively clean fashion... Hardly sets you up as a contender for a more prestigeous title!!!

I'm all for Kofi being in the EC. But by going over Kane to do it? Can't they give Kane a little bit of credibility?

I didn't realise they'd had qualification matches on Raw already!

Don't worry, I'm aware of that. But - when else is the pay-off match going to happen? Surely Orton will compete at WM in nothing but the main event? He's become the WWE flagbearer now!

And you wouldn't subject Orton/Legacy to a match with the McMahons at Monday Night Raw, no?

Elimination Chamber for WHC: John Cena vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Chris Jericho vs. Kane vs. JBL

Elimination Chamber for WWE: Edge vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Triple H vs. Vladimir Kozlov vs. The Big Show vs. The Undertaker

Randy Orton vs. Shane McMahon (Add some sort of angle brewed out of this and we have your WM storyline, or something ...)

Intercontinental Championship: CM Punk vs. William Regal

And now I'm lost for ideas.

I say again... Once the full storyline is revealed.

Surely Orton will compete at WM in nothing but the main event? He's become the WWE flagbearer now!

So you don't think Cena (w/McMahons) v Orton (w/Legacy) is an obvious choice for WM? Add to that Steph turning on 'The Mac's' to get Orton the win and the title and you've got some 'big tings poppin'(*) right there.

(*Copyright-MVP. ;o] )

Yeah, ok Shane & Orton might have beef (match or otherwise) at NWO, but let's face it Shane gonna get beat down 3-on-1 if he dares step to Orton alone.

Which would then build to WM as I have suggested above.

And you wouldn't subject Orton/Legacy to a match with the McMahons at Monday Night Raw, no?

Theoretically, yes, and I do get your point, but there's no need to be so facetious when I clearly wasn't suggested as much.

Elimination Chamber for WHC: John Cena vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Chris Jericho vs. Kane vs. JBL

Kane's out of the running... (See previous couple of posts.)

Randy Orton vs. Shane McMahon (Add some sort of angle brewed out of this and we have your WM storyline, or something ...)

LOL... Now you've concurred to a similar line of thinking to me...

I thought you said this couldn't p-o-s-s-i-b-l-y lead to anything for Orton @ WM as he has his title shot to cash in???

Really surprised that HHH and Taker are both in the same chamber match. One of them is going to have to be pinned, and perhaps both if Edge retains. I'm expecting HHH to win, but still interesting that they are both in the same match.

I'm not sure what the hell they're gonna do with this chamber match. Whatever it is, it's going to have to set up the WWE title match for Mania, as RAW is already set on their end.
The advertisement features Kozlov, so I'de expect him to look pretty strong in the chamber. If he's not winning (which I wouldn't bet on) I would expect we'll see him suffer his first pinfall.

If any of you want to be in the next EC, all you have to do is give the Undertaker a phone call. See, he has "Teh Bh4kst4g3 p0w4rz!"

Apparently the undead have cell phones. So you think he has Verizon or AT&T?
