Now that Orton has won the Rumble, what do you think the chances are of wwe throwing us a curve ball?
I know everyone thinks it will be Orton vs Cena, and I do too, but, wwe sometimes pulls out a surprise.
I personally am praying for an Orton vs Edge, now that Hardy is out of the equation.

So, use this thread to dream up your Wrestlemania main event, now that Orton has won the Rumble, and how you would get there.
What champion do you think wwe will book him to go after?

I think just so he don't have to deal with Steph on Raw(even thought really she could get him anywhere) he will jump to SD and take that title shot. I think Edge and Orton could put on a good match if given good time and good build up. Now keep in mind it might be heel vs heel but there both Cocky as hell so it would make for a hell of a heel vs heel storyline. Just my opinion.

I really want to see an Edge and Orton feud but it should not happen for a long while, until and only really if Orton develops more into a badass tweener persona, bordering on face. Cena v Orton is the way to go for this Wrestlemania, but I still think Randy will feud with Edge in the future.

^ Yeah, Orton vs. Edge could be a good one but how 'bout Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase. I don't know but this could be a start of a Rock/SCSA WM like feud between Orton/Cena where they will main event the next Wrestlemanias.

They've worked seemingly hard on The Legacy, I doubt he'll jump ship to SmackDown! leaving them.

I would rather see Orton vs Edge than Orton vs cena..

they can still book a smackdown wrestler to Face cena at mania.. I.E Undertaker or HHH or jeff Hardy...

just have both belts switch.. it can happen...

I'm thinking that because Orton was almost fired last week, and faces "legal actions" this week, he'll be fired, and therefore use his shot on SD.

I could see it being The Legacy vs. Cena & the McMahons. Could be an interesting feud to say the least.

I think Cena (w/The McMahons) Vs Orton (w/Legacy) is the best option they have right now. Have Orton, by means of Steph turning on 'The Macs', win and kick this power struggle into top gear for the rest of 2009. (Orton winning the title at Mania will continue to elevate him to supa-heel status without it being at the expense of Cena's credibility.)



Orton v Edge would be awesome some day, but neither's characters are anywhere near the right 'place' at this point in time.

Other matches I'd like to see:

*Cena v Taker (although Summerslam would be far better for the fact that without the 'streak' element at play it becomes an infinitely more unpredictable match.)
*HBK v Taker
*Jericho v Taker (Well up for this should we not get HBK/Taker.... Given how Jericho's being bitched-out by The McMahon's i could actually see them putting him into the interpromo against Taker for their own ammusement or even by Steph at Orton's instruction).
*HHH v JBL (Street fight...."My buddy may be prepared to suck it up, but I'm not blah blah blah")
*CM Punk v Wiliam Regal (2 out of 3 falls - ALL decisions count.)
*Edge v Christian v Jeff v Matt (4-way TLC for the WWE title)


I defo see Taker being the SD competitor in the interpromotional challenge and I've got a gut feeling that the WWE title will be vacant by the time WM arrives..
