Fuck CM Punk. He doesn't deserve to have won all three titles so early imo and since he won them so early it may ruin his career for being pushed so fast. :smh

He should have won this title after a long hard feud that lead to an ending wrestlemania match with William Regal making each of them as well as the IC title look good but now we have Punk with the title after winning it off Regal after three bad matches.

It's not all bad that, after the match Punk celebrated for about the same amount of time as the match was so that could mean that he is in for a long reign but you never know tbh. He better hold it to Wrestlemania so he won it for a good reason and not just for the fact that he was in his hometown at the time.

I'd settle for the belt being featured as regularly as it has been and some regular title defenses on TV... Hopefully that's what they have planned now Punk's carrying the belt... He wrestles on Raw most weeks anyway, so why not?

Thing is, looking at the Raw roster, there's not too many tantalizing prospects in terms of mid-card heels on Raw....

Kane,
Knox,
Ziggler,
Miz n Morrison (IF not on tag-team duty)

Shame they trashed Burchill's Raw run... Him v Punk could have been sweet.

I say have Regal come back after him, wanting 'his' belt back.

I am pretty sure CM Punk will be defending the IC Championship in a one on one match at Wrestlemania

The IC title hasn't been defended at Wrestlemania in a while.

Congratulations to Punk... Becoming a triple crown champ in a time shorter than Kevin Nash is an accomplishment Yes....

Punk looks natural with the IC belt.... it's his belt...i think they should keep him a mainevent-midcard champ....Like Jericho when he was I.C. or Jeff in the Beginning of 2008.

Punk is a great champion, can't wait to see some GTS(even if it is the sloppy version) in some title defenses.

I like CM Punk in the smaller roles, I really did not like him in the heavyweight title division at all, but thats just my opinion. WWE did a good move by giving him the title... in my/his hometown too :D

Punk was made for the IC championship, that's so true. He could mold himself into a WHC over time, sort of like HBK and Austin did IMO. I would like to see him with it for at least 4-5 months. Maybe with a good feud or 2 with someone like Morrison or continue his program with Regal I would like to see him and Regal in a 2/3 falls match or something at 'Mania

I want Punk to hold it over a year and bring back credibility to the IC title.

I doubt that will happen. There's a slight chance he will have an extended reign compared to recent ones, but a year is improbable. Creative gets bored with keeping the same champions (except world champions, but that's because they need tried and true guys to be there, and cut out as little risk as possible)

Punk makes a perfect IC Champion; he had the correct build, charisma and is over like a mother phucker. He has main event experience..not a whole lot but still main event experience. It isn't like hes some rookie, hes been around the block.....or world in his case. A few times. If needed he could be a main-eventer on a time-to-time basis, much like Jeff Hardy, Randy Orton and Y2J before him.

Did anyone besides me think his match with Jericho on Raw was way to short? The ending was pretty gay to.

Yes, the match was far too short. Hope one day they will have a big PPV match. Maybe a ladder bout.
