St-Pierre vs. Penn 2 is going to be insane, I'm rooting for St-Pierre on this one. Apart from that nothing sticks out that much. My main surprise is that Jon Fitch is on the Prelims. Just think his last UFC Fight was in the main event against St-Pierre for the belt. I'm guessing its about their little argument with the UFC about video game rights.​

I agree with you on the fact that this is going to be insane but not the part that GSP will win. I have to go with my boy Penn on this. I think he's going to push GSP to his limit and break him.

Yeah but consider that Penn hasn't fought since May, now this may make him fresh, but having 8 months since his last fight may be a bit difficult. Oh and who won the last fight, St-Pierre knows how to beat Penn and is more athletic, faster, stronger and younger. Either way its gonna be a great fight, unless we get a UFC 92 where all the big fights end really early and can't tell who is the better fighter.

The good thing about not fighting in 8 months is GSP has an idea on what coming at him only from what he expieranced last time. For all you know Penn could have changed up his style a little bit for this fight with GSP. Which is what I ahve a feeling his has done.

Of course he has and I wouldn't put it passed him. But take a look at GSP's last fight against Jon Fitch. At the time Fitch was considered one of the top 3 Welterweights in MMA and had the joint longest win streak in the UFC, and what you saw was as a close to perfect performance in MMA you will ever see. 25 minutes of complete domination and I'm afraid thats what I think what will happen come January 31.

I doubt GSP would DOMINATE penn i just don't think anyone could dominate him. But he has a solid chance of beating hime. Honestly this is one of the most unpredictable fights in years. Im thinking that GSP just needs to keep it mixed up and has to take advantage of his ground game.

I never actually looked at the televised card until now...holy shit.

That card is pretty stacked with a ton of talent. I mean come on, Stephan Bonnar back in the octogon? You can't beat that. Not to mention Diaz and Guida, that should be interesting to see. Then you got Machida, which is always a good show, and then the monster of a main event. This is going to be a great UFC card.

For the record I hope St-Pierre destroys BJ's ass for a second straight time, I am not that big of a GSP fan, but I really hate BJ, it's a personal vendetta.

Unhappy with the way he was portrayed in the first installment of the UFC’s “Primetime†series, which hypes his January 31st bout against welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre, lightweight champion BJ Penn has abruptly decided he no longer wishes to be involved with the show, according to MMAJunkie.com:

“…B.J. Penn recently shut down a taping and interview session for the series and no longer wants involved in the project.
During the Jan. 14 debut, Penn was sometimes portrayed as a fighter who didn’t take his training too seriously – a reputation that’s long dogged the 30-year-old fighter.
In the latest taping segment for “Primetime,†Penn cut short taping just eight minutes into an interview, the source said.â€

Last week’s debut episode of Primetime, which models the popular HBO Boxing series “24/7″, was a major success, attracting 880,000 viewers, the most to ever tune in for a UFC preview show.
The second installment of the series airs tonight on Spike TV at 10pm ET.

I'm not surprised, he did come off as a bit unprofessional, not taking Dana's call.

Holy Shit! GSP just fucked Penn up wow.. If anyone think that he is not the best pound for pound fighter in the world right now they are wrong.

I just wanna see Anderson Sliva and GSP now, and I bet GSP would win that too.

I didn't really like the other fights, Machida was good and the new guy Jones looks like he will have a great future.

I still can't belive what GSP did to Penn. All the trash talking that Penn did is gonna be hard to eat up.

Yet to see the event, its being shown in the UK tonight, but from what I've read GSP completely owned BJ Penn. I guess Penn didn't train as hard as he could, or more likely GSP is much better. If there was ever a time for someone to eat their own words, it definetly is now.

Also, with a card featuring Machida, there was too many decisions, but surprisingly Machida's ended in the first round! Glad that Fitch won also, hopefully he'll be back on a main card PPV very soon.
