When the division began in TNA many people were into it and believe it or not they were drawing in the most ratings every week, you would get a decent match on impact and a usually a pretty good one at the PPV but lately they have been shit. Every week you get the same old match, the team of Khan, Bolt and Cheerleader Melissa (forgot her Indian name) Vs ODB, Roxxi and Taylor or Christy in the mix somewhere in a Knockout street fight 6-women tag type of thing. They have had two or three in the past Impacts and one at Genesis and its old/boring and I am pretty sure noone enjoys them anymore. The division has turned to crap and it looks as though they are running out of ideas for the women so what do you think they should do here? Get rid of the division, do more singles matches for the title, get the title off Kong and have more comepetitive match-ups, or bring in some new fresh talent and kind of renew the division? Because every week its the same old crap so what do you all think and do you agree that its getting old?

Jesus Christ, you posts are hard to read. I'm not going to force myself to withstand the pain of deciphering that, so I will just give my opinion on the Knockouts without having any idea what you said.

I loved TNA's women's division during the Awesome Kong/Gail Kim feud. In fact, the Kim/Kong match at Final Resolution 2008 was one of only two women's matches that I have enjoyed all the way through (the other being Stratus/James at WrestleMania 22). Since that feud, though, things have been very hard to watch.

Even when Gail Kim was still working, nothing was exciting. I don't care about Taylor Wilde or Christie Hemme or ODB or Roxxi Laveaux. Awesome Kong is fun to watch, but it gets old seeing her squash every woman who comes her way. Nobody is a legitimate threat to her, and to make it seem so is laughable. I was against the creation of the TNA women's division, and this is why. The Knockouts' honeymoon is over, and now we're forced to sit through diluted programming.

I like watching the TNA Knockouts more than the WWE Divas because they have become too predictable and no one (other than Beth Pheniox) is a decent wrestler; but I agree with you Qwake, they have become rather boring to watch, maybe they should start getting more Knockouts or giving more of the women more of a chance at the Knockout title imo. But like i said, that is just my oppinion.

Wasn't that guy Scott D'more or somthing like that the head promoter/writer for the Knockouts division? And after he left, that's when it started going down hill. Gail Kim leaving could have possibly made it worse, but it was all his departure. But I think they need to get the title off of Kong, and keep her away from it for a while. As Axis said, nobody is a legitimate threat against her. They have the talent in their Knockouts division to put on a good show, just not the right person to get them back in that direction.

Then use Google. If I'm watching a wrestling show, I want to see story-telling told through wrestling.

I really love the TNA Knockouts division and I disagree with you they should keep the divison but like you said they should bring in some new stars. I believe the reason the divison was so focused on in the past was because they had someone looking over the divison (Scott De'More) but now they have someone else looking over them so hopefully things can pick up again.

Former WWE star, Savio Vega, is now in charge of the TNA Knockouts division. The division has been one of TNA's biggest assets over the last year or so, and it's now his job to maintain that level of quality.

The knockouts were never anything special anyways. I mean, Gail Kim vs Awesome Kong every week. EXCITING~!

If you looked at the ratings breakdown for iMPACT, the highest rating segments for the entire show was anything involving the Beautiful People. The reason that is is cos they shake their ass during their entrance.

So really, the Knockouts are still really boring and the reason they are called better then WWE's right now is Angelina & Velvet shaking their asses on the ring ropes.

I really, really don't like Womens wrestling, at all. Im just bored by it, sure they're hot, sure some can wrestle, but in the end.. I just change the channel. If it were up to be, scrap them all.

no one (other than Beth Pheniox) is a decent wrestler;

That is beyond laughable. I'm willing to bet that you don't even watch the WWE if that's your opinion.

believe it or not they were drawing in the most ratings every week
What's your point here? The ratings of TNA in general have risen, and the knockouts are STILL the highest raters a lot of the time. That means they're getting higher ratings now than they were before.

you would get a decent match on impact and a usually a pretty good one at the PPV
You're telling me you find Velvet Sky to be a decent wrestler? Because most of the time, she was the one wrestling, and she's definitely not very good in the ring.

In the last two points it seems you've tried to make things seem so dramatic, like they've changed majorly, when in fact all you're doing is bringing forward information that has been extracted directly from your anus.

The knockouts division misses a top face. Out of Roxxi, Christy, ODB and Taylor Wilde, who stands out? None of them. They're all on the exact same level and that makes things boring. You can't have your whole roster in the main event, because it makes the main event spot seem unimportant. Likewise, if all knockout faces are on the same level, none seem important, rather they seem generic.

TNA needs to apply some logic here by staggering their division. They need to decide who their main face is going to be, then work from there. This whole equality shit TNA seems to believe in just makes them look stupid. It adversely affects the whole knockouts product here, becuase it makes them seem bland, in turn making the division seem bland.

Everyone loved the knockouts to begin with because we had a figure head face in Kim, who could help the rest of the division out as a leader. TNA need to find that new leader, because the knockout division is lost without it. Rehiring Gail may be the best option, because I can't see any of the current knockouts stepping up to become top face.

Well don't watch them too much, your hand might get strained.

The knockouts were at one point, TNA's highest rating segment of the show. That's kind of sad imo. Considering probably 90% of the show is men.

The Knockouts lost a lot with the loss of Scott D'more, but besides that, the Knockouts are stagnating right now because they don't know what to do with the belt. It just sits on Kong, during which time she might not even be in the main Knockout feud going on. And now, they finally decide to push someone else and it's Christy Hemme of all people. This ODB thing is pretty lackluster, but that's only because it was never meant to happen to begin with. We'll see how it goes now that someone the crowd actually cares about is gunning for the title, but something tells me they'll just job ODB out again, not even look at Roxxi (no doubt putting in ear plugs to drown out the damn chanting), and put the belt on Christy the second she comes back. Thanks, Russo. :disgust1:

The KO division definately wasn't what it was at the start but it's kinda weird 'cause if you ask me, there is more talent in the division now then when it started. Now I have a few reasons why I think the KO division has gone the way it's gone so I'll say a few and give some reasoning.

1) Gail Kim leaving, she was the face that stood out in the KO division and she and Kong put on some great matches and she pretty much helped make the KO division the amazing feature it was to TNA but her loss has affected the division a lot imo. At first when she left I thought "Life goes on" but that wasn't the case as I thought ODB would rise but all she did was the same old boring shit and then I thoguht Taylor Wilde would do good but instead of standing out she just fell into the pack with the rest of them which is something Gail didn't do.

2) Awesome Kong's "Path of destruction". It is sooo amazingly boring to me. I loved the whole unstoppable thing the first time round but this time round it doesn't really feel the same and the Kongtourage doesn't help either if you ask me. Now Kong is supposed to be a force to be reckoned with but then she has Rhaka Khan and that fat black chick watching her back which is not needed at all. I understand why Mellisa is there for the sake of promos but the others aren't needed and tbh I can't blame Kong for making the path of destruction so boring because with her being a dominant champ, atm no-one is really worthy of holding the belt except her so what are TNA suppsoed to do.

3) Taylor Wilde. I never expected much from her but she did change my mind during her title reign and I thought she had some decent matches with Kong and I saw her as the next Gail Kim but then something must of happenjed when she lost the belt and now she's jsut another KO. She is talented, I can't deny but if you are just "one of those people" then you are never going to gain credibility which is what has happened to Taylor and unless you prove that you are more talented than the rest by stepping into the spotlight then you'll never make a good champion.

4) Not giving Roxxi the title sooner. As I was just on the subject of people stepping into the spotlight, Roxxi did exactly that and she was on fire around BFG time and TNA really should have capatalised on that by making her the KO champion. She was putting in a lot of effort into her match work and the crowd was really behind her but recently she's seemed to have lost momentum and fallen out of the spotlight into the group with Taylor and ODB tbh and it seems like a bit of a waste of time pushing her for nothing.

5) Same old shit. Now for the past 2 months that is all I seen from the KO division. Yeah, Christy Hemme may have been a new challenger for the blt but her fate was the same as everyone elses and tbh the main reason for the KO divison being so repetitive is because of no-one being worthy of taking the title off of Kong but I think TNA will have to give the title to a face sooner or later just to create some new feuds against people other than Kong just to bring something new to the division.

That's what I think anyway...
