Jeff Hardy has no talent.
I disagree with that. The guy has talent, he was just meant to be the 'close, but no cigar' World Champion competitor. He's a career upper-midcarder; Matt, a career midcarder. Hardy's meant to be cheered for as the underdog thus a World Title just isn't for him because he's the one who 'the big bad guy' attacks and Hardy seeks revenge. You gotta cut him some slack, the WWE Championship; it's just not him.

I was one of the ones that thought it wasn't a good idea for Jeff to be champ, but after he got it, I thought it would be a good reign. But after these weeks have been passing, I don't think it has. And I didn't think they would have him play the underdog role. I think it's sad that they have to have him go through all this, he was the most over wrestler on the roster, but yet he continues to go through this attack segments. And that pyro explosion was hilarious.

Then it got me thinking, if this is the rumored return of Christian, they know that when/if he returns, he will get a face reaction. WWE obviously had other ideas for him and they want him heel, all these attacks aren't to get Hardy over more or get him sympathy from the fans, but to get Christian super heel heat by continuous attacks on WWE's most over face. They must have big plans for Christian to bring him in like that and you have to thank TNA for that because they should what he can do in the main event scene, Vince saw that and wanted it for himself. I think Jeff's going to be back in the upper-midcard again after all this is over, with Christian eventually taking over as top face.

I had an idea about this and it might sounds a bit stupid but what if there was some kind of twist with Matt being the person behind the attacks, think someone mentioned it earlier, maybe christian could come back and help Jeff.

or

Christian could interfere at the rumble between edge and jeff and help jeff, claiming that edge's success should have been his, or something like that?

sounded better in my head.

I don't think Matt should be the attacker. Especially since the only time he has been heel, he was just a cocky asshole and not someone who enjoyed causing pain like some other heels. So having Matt attack Jeff so he loses/never gained the title wouldn't make sense. I'm sure as a brotherly gesture Matt could easily get a title match from Jeff.

And again, why would Jeff get a clean win over Big Show when Big Show got a clean win over HHH a couple weeks later? At least Hardy won. Big Show is supposed to look dominant, so beating him anyway you can is definitely better than anything.

First of all the "accident." Goldberg can stand in his sparks during his entrance...but Jeff gets blinded? That's all I'm gonna say...lol.

As for Christian debuting as a face. There is no way in hell he'd get a face reaction by attacking the biggest face in the company week after week.

Hardy's title reign is already soiled IMO. The guy has gotten his ass handed to him since receiving the belt and really hasn't gained any more momentum than when he first became champ. Get the belt off of him and away from this whole EnC/Hardy's feud for the time being and let Hardy go for it again somewhere down the road.

I agree. I don't care for yet another "T3am Extr3me" reunion to watch another TLC match. This isn't 1999, and Jeff's title run is obviously a failure. How many actual matches has he had anyways?

A trust that Cage vs Hardy can be solid.

The bad thing is that Hardy's championship reign has been used as the stepping stone for that feud. WWE has been booking towards that feud, instead of booking Hardy's reign correctly.

Seroiusly? A champsionship reign built up for someone coming in who wasn't even a main eventer nor upper-midcarder in the past?

I don't think it has to do with the title. I'm pretty sure Jeff wont be champ for long. So I think this is all to get Christian some real good heat, they obviously don't want him getting cheered at all. So how do they stop that, you take WWE's most over face, take him out of a title match by beating him up in a hotel, try running him and his gf off the road in an attempt to seriously hurt them, and screw up his pyro taking him out again, and this just happens to be the guy that's the WWE champ. They are guaranteeing that he wont get cheered by anyone at all and that's the way to do it. I doubt that Hardy and Christian will be going into a World title program right away, so I think Hardy will be losing that title, probably at the Rumble.

So you think Matt Hardy cant pull off a vicious heel but Christian Cage can? No effing way. Christian Cage has no good heel vicious faces. Thats why his heel run in TNA flopped.

At least Hardy's reign isn't Rey Mysterio bad. Jeff certainly still has fans and is still over like crazy everywhere he goes. No, he isn't dominating but he is getting a sufficient amount of sympathy which like you said will only get Christian more heat. I don't think Jeff Hardy is the type of superstar to be the dominate face World Champion, he did well with the IC Title but I don't see WWE ever going that route with him. This could be his only World Title reign like Edge said.

Those Christian Coalition beat downs were pretty brutal in TNA but I agree that Christian doesn't have the vicious look that guys like Edge or Orton can have. SO maybe he will be arrogant about all the attacks he's plotted against Jeff. Anyway I'm glad Captain Charisma is returning.

There's nothing wrong with the storyline itself and for most reigns of a decent length this could even be seen as a pretty cool angle, but the odd part of all this for me is that, IF there is a fear or Jeff's title reign being a failure, WWE are veto-ing the one thing that he CAN rely on to keep him over with the fans.... HIS RING WORK.

All this shit just serves as more pressure for him to perform when FINALLY handed the mic when the shit hits the fan and the attacker is revealed.

Furthermore, IF this is a protective strategy, I don't see how WWE can conclude anything from it and gain faith for any prospective future Jeff Hardy reigns when they're not letting Jeff DO anything!

The one thing that bothered me about the whole farce, was the fact that had his face been burned, shouldn't they have at least put some sort of gauze bandage on his face when he was being put on the stretcher? I know it was made to look like a "shoot" but they could have made it a little more real.
