Well, in the past calender year, 2008, wwe has released many wrestlers. I mean many. They're pretty much constantly doing it, but it's usually just small time FCW guys or whatever. But it seems 2, maybe 3 times a year, wwe has it's "spring cleaning", although it can happen in any season.
That's usually when guys of some credibility get "future endevoured", so I'm sure that over the next year, there will definately be a couple "spring cleanings".
So, when do you think the next one will be, and secondly, more importantly, who do you think the next wrestler of notice (someone who actually appears regularily) to be released will be?

J.R.? Are you serious? I think J.R. has a WWE job for life, regardless of wether he's commentating or not.

Your right. My mistake. I didn't mean that he would be completely cut from the company,I'm pretty sure he would get a position in the front office or something. I just meant that I don't see him commentating past 09'. Say what you will but the Taz/JR combo on SmackDown is so bad to listen to. I wince with embarrassment everytime Taz makes a reference that JR doesn't understand and vice versa. Then theres the issue of pacing. Taz moves fast and picks up on the action quickly, whereas JR plods along slowly...just barely trying to grasp it all. The end result is that both mens styles cancels each others out and as a result the commentary falls flat. I can almost garuntee that this team won't be in tact after the draft. So if that happens, what becomes of JR? He might retire....or he may go back to RAW with Cole. If none of that is possible, maybe a position off camera would be a solution?

BTW. Heres a drinking game you can play with your friends. Every time Taz yells "It's like a STREET FIGHT out here JR!!" Take a drink.

Take out BoogeyMan from the list. He's not that bad. They're spending alot on his production, and he is a unique character. He's entertaining, IMO. Take out JR as he is some kind of executive around there as well. He may retire from commentary, but I'm pretty sure his job is safe.

I agree with the rest though. Throw in 90% of the Divas roster (how many blondes do we need on Smackdown that all look exactly alike?) and add in Ezekiel Jackson, Festus and Khali and I'd be happy.

Jillian is quality! Harrowing gimmick, but that's the idea.... She can wrestle a damn good match when given the chance to.

Also, pleased to see the Burchills on this weeks ECW so hopefully there's no release in the pipeline for them... They are well suited to the show even if they aren't in line for any kind of imminent push. Thee are so many people more worthy of a release.
