^ But that would have been more sweet if they didn't air it on wwe.com and spoil it.

But I nothing will beat the Triple H return on raw in 01' they billed it all night and Triple H said in his DVD that it was the biggest pop he and anyone ever got in history and he has ever heard. Triple H said while laughing that the second his music hit that the crowd went nuts at such a level that he looked back at Vince and Steph standing there backstage and said "MOTHER FUCKER!"

My favourite would have to be the return of Shawn Michaels during the Randy Orton ceremony because nobody saw it coming and it was very well done. That is about it.

Edges at SS this year was also pretty good.

What have been some of your favourite returns in professional wrestling history?

I have a couple. HBK's return to Raw in 2007 is definitely one, as it was the first time in a while I just thought 'Holy fuckmuffins!' since I honestly didn't see it coming. Cena coming back in the Rumble was another epic one, that definitely came out of nowhere. Edge at SS 08, and finally, Ultimate Warrior at WM VIII. That shit was incredible.

Haha I agree. Not to brag but I was there. >.< and it was amazing Imma HUGE Orton fan but I started freaking out when HBK's music hit. It was just awesome.

Shawn Michaels returning after seven years to the wrestling business, in 2002, Chris Jericho and his Save_US return, Matt Hardy's random attacks during the Edge/ Lita storyline and then Vince makes a good business decision and brings Hardy back. Hogan in the Hassan/ Daivari match at Backlash was put together nicely as well.

One of my favorite returns would be Undertaker's return at Wrestlmania XX. The return of the Deadman gimmick was just well plotted out. From the way they had the storyline play out to the way you anticipate his return cause of the mind games he played on Kane.

Y2J's return was cool in a way cause of the effort put into it. Reminiscent of the time he arrived first at the WWE though with the whole countdown and interrupting The Rock.

The Rock's one night return for Wrestlemania XX was cool as well cause it was unexpected the way Orton challenged Foley to call Rock and it just so happened he was there in the flesh.

Triple H's return at Summerslam was a good one as well. Well hyped and everything.

When Hogan was returning with the NWO (B+W) to the WWE back in 2002, they had hyped it for a couple months. When Hogan walked out of that Titantron in Chicago Illinois, it was LUNACY. He received a 21 minute standing ovation. The best part of this was the fact that he was the heel in the storyline vs The Rock. The crowd wouldn't let him start talking even though he had the microphone in his hand

Triple H (Raw 2002) - Even though through out the whole night there was hype for his return later in the evening. When his music finally hit. It gave me goosebumps. I enjoyed it that much! The crowd gave him a good reaction (from what I can remember). Then winning the Royal Rumble. Priceless...

Shawn Michaels (Raw 2002) - I did not ever see him coming back what so ever. Especially as a member of the nWo for Christs sake. Never in a million years would I of saw that one coming. Epic. Simply Epic

Cryme Tyme and Shawn Michaels in '07? Wtf?

Sting's return was big for me, because I grew up watching him and was a HUGE fan of his in WCW. Eric Bishoff was a HUGE shock, so that was fun too. John Cena at the Royal Rumble was one of the better ones. My top choice would have to be Shawn Michaels in 2002, though. Nobody saw him coming back full time, ESPECIALLY in a wrestling role. Seeing him rise up and reclaim the world championship was incredible.

Undertaker, Judgement Day 2000. Ridiculously crowded, nobody knew what that music was, then we see Taker on the cycle.

The '02 HHH return was that the one built up with the U2 music?

I'll admit to being a Goldust mark, and it was cool how he returned at the Royal Rumble in '02, and gave his classic promos in front of the mirror in a dark room about "scripting his return...making a comeback so great it would make John Travolta quiver..."

Too bad they didn't follow through with the angle. They turned him comedy soon after with the Booker T and Goldust segments, lol

John Cena at the Royal Rumble 2008 because nobody was expecting this at all. Plus with the huge pop that he got at MSG made his return even more epic.
