for me alot of the younger champions just don't live up to the great legends from the past like rick flaire and hulk hogan. i think waht made rick flaire and hulk hogan great champions is because they wrestled for over 20 years. but now you have champions like edge and they make edge champion over and over again or someone like jbl where no one really knows he is. where guys like rick flair andf hulk hogan everyone knew who they were even if you don't watch wrestling every week. i thionk the legends of the past like hulk hogan and rick flaire would be seen on shows that had nothing to do with wrestling because they were so famous. hogan had 3 of his very own tv shows where a guy like edge wouldn't be given his own tv show. edge is definitly more athletic than hogan but you would have to argue, is he as charismatic? please write back withyour opinion

Seriously, why do you continue to do this? People bag you and your threads for your awful grammar and Blue threads, yet you continue making more.

Who in the blue hell is Rick Flaire?

Why do you ask who the worst WWE Champion is, only to not answer your own question? Instead, you say that the young guys aren't as good as the old guys. That's not naming someone, that's Blue.

Your point about Edge not being a household name while Hogan was is just stupid. That has nothing to do with Edge. That has more to do with the popularity of wrestling at the time of which each was champion.

This thread sucks.

The fact that Hulk Hogan wrestled for more than one year is worth crying over. :shifty:

Edge is an established main eventer and an awesome champion. He is maybe the most charismatic superstar in the WWE today and definatley draws the most heat with Vickie.

JBL had to fill a void on Smackdown when he was champ and he did it brilliantly.

As for the worst, I'm tempted to say King Booker but he had one of the best gimmick's of the decade and I am a huge Booker mark anyway. Some bad champions were Rey Mysterio & The Great Khali.

I'd say The Big Lazy, Kevin Nash was the worst Champion ever. I know back in his Diesel days he worked a little bit more, but still.

Rey Mysterio was pretty bad:

"I'm gonna deefaynd my World Heavyweight Championsheeep in thee reeeng tonite"

He flopped every time he got on the mic

I didnt mind Mysterio's transitional run, because he's earned his spot with loyalty and hardwork. The guy is one of the best cruiserweights of all time, and if he didn't win the belt, it would send a negative sign to other lighter wrestlers. He was pretty bad on the mic, but he didnt really cut long promos.

Sid and Khali on the other hand, simply won it because of their size and being in the right place at the right time. Hell, Sid had two of the worst Wrestlemania main events in history. Take your pick Sid vs Hogan or Sid vs. Taker.

Aye, Sid as champ stank!

...A good ME would have done wonders for WM13 and as for WM8, well, a decent ME would have blown the roof off that sucker!

lol. you make me laugh everytime you say something like that. first off, what does hard work have to do with being entertaining? how is loyalty and hardwork ever going to make a jobber a world heavyweight champion? fuck that..

second, you said it yourself, CRUISERWEIGHT! giving him a HEAVYWEIGHT championship was a fucking joke!

edit-

not to mention an insult to everybody who was going to wear that belt after him(not just the first guy). it depends on how he gains/loses it, but i find it insulting.

edit again-

you all bitched about it when vince won the ecw title.

We've had this thread before. My pick was Stan "The Man" Stasiak from WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY back in the 70's. Remember him? I sure as hell don't. He was Champ for ten days, but his reign was only so they could get the title off Pedro Morales, and put it on Bruno. Completely pointless.
