ProWrestling.net is reporting that WWE officials have soured on R-Truth, aka Ron Killings. The Truth entered WWE with a series of video packages and a lot of hype, and was met with warm fan response. After seeing the fan reaction, there was even talk within WWE that he could be the next ‘chosen one.’ However, WWE officials have quickly turned cold on his in-ring performances. His push has been stalled because they feel that his basic wrestling skills are limited.

Word going around is that management feels he should improve in the ring and even though he can hit the flashy spots, he needs to go back and work on the basics.

------------

Ok, I have to ask once again...is this real? If so, what are your thoughts?

Doubt it's real. What's wrong with his in ring work? He can do flash,a nd he has the basics down.
On top of that, again, how would they know this?
Either way, whether it's real or not, he could never be a legit main eventer, like a carry the company guy. He's just a good midcarder, and I doubt that push is cancelled.

He lost to Dolph Ziggler, but I still doubt his push is stalled. I'd like to see him become an established upper mid carder in the future. Untrue report, imo.

BTW...

Truth only suxxez coz heez from teh TNA~!

He sucks dick. There's no way around it and I can't believe racist WWE put Truth ahead of Benjamin and MVP on their black guy push scale. :n:

And since when did in-ring matter in WWE? Triple H, Orton, Batista and Cena are all Main eventers. >_>

Well that really convinced me. WWE officials told dirtsheet writers about Ron Killings? Ya ok stop pointing out the obvious so you have a news story to follow up the Raw results.

Agreed.

If spinning around in the ring makes you a good wrestler, I guess Jack Evans is the best in the world.

I thought his push or rise up in the E would be stalled after Helm's said he was gunning for Benjamin's title. Truth and Benjamin were going at it for what 2 3 months and I thought for sure WWE would pull the trigger and Truth win it at 1 point during the feud.

I have no problem believing this report as everything they said about Truth is true.

Aside from a couple of corkscrew moves, he's pretty crap in the ring and his so-called charisma doesn't extend beyond merely repeating the phrase "what's up?" over and over...

I'm surprised he got any real interest from WWE to start with.

He got pushed ahead of Shelton & MVP?

When was that exactly....???

Benjamin's still US champ.

MVP may be on a losing streak but this is most likely the storyline that will eventually catapult him into the ME. Even now, he still gets a decent amount of mic time.

Truth hasn't even made it onto PPV (aside from playing a bit part in a SSeries tag match).

Even then, dispite all this, the only reason he's seeemd so active on SD is because, with Jeff MEing, they had NO other midcard faces (a point clearly illustrated by them having him team up with Funaki - No other options!).

As for racism... Your point was fucked as it is, but how your (badly assessed) observation supports any accusation of racism I have no idea.

Exactly. Truth wasn't pushed above them. He may have been pushed to look like a goo dbaby face, but he kept coming up short of the us title.
And MVP is losing, but like Airfixx said, eventually, it will pay off for him, and R Trush will still be in the mid card.
It only looks like they arepushing him more, because it's a face push, but really, he isn't really going anywhere.

The guy can wrestle. He just chooses not to, and uses flashy-flippy moves. But the real problem here is that there's almost no-one to match him in WWE at this time. Back to TNA to be pushed, there he might find someone to match him, I'm just sayin'...

I called it. He was flaunted for a month or two to make the grass seem greener for the TNA guys with expiring contracts, but now they're sick of him. I'll give him another two months, tops. R-Walker.

In what sense do you you mean "match him"?

...He's better than everyone else?

...There's no-one in WWE to compliment his style?
