This past Monday night on RAW WWE finally did the right thing. Instead of Cena beating the shit out of Jericho again, further burying him after last week, WWE did an awesome beat down angle that really kick starts the feud between Jericho and Cena. Now, Cena can get revenge on not only Jericho, but Orton, Manu, and Cody Rhodes as well. Thats an 8 man tag main event waiting to happen! I actually wouldn't be surprised if WWE did that for next week's RAW.

Anyway, do you guys agree with me about this? Don't you think that the beat down angle last week where Cena rocked Jericho was stupid? And THIS is how you're supposed to start a feud? At least now it has some heat, poor wwe369 got so pissed we know at least he'll tune in to see supercena get revenge

No, they should've actually had Cena do the beatdown.
People are sick of the same old underdog Cena we have seen for years. I always see him egt beat down, and come back "against the odds".
I liked it what they had him do two weeks ago, and what he did two weeks ago was actually the only way he was going to be able to gain fans.

This weeks raw did nothing to help him progress his character.
No promo to prove he is more uthless or anything, just a match that ended the same way as most of Cena's Raw matches (that aren't on PPV).
Beatdown.

Next week now, he comes back and "defies the odds", and beats them all in a 4 on 1.

^ If Cena beat up Jericho AGAIN not only would Y2J come off as a joke, but the feud will have 0 heat. If you want people to actually care, you have Jericho beat down Cena so he can do his little come back. Heels need to dominate portions of a feud to make it exciting.

Do you really want to bury Jericho?

^Obviously I don't want to bury Jericho, he's my favourite wrestler. But I never said he had to beat him down again.
IDK what they could've done instead, that's why I'm not a booker.
But I will say that this was stupid on Raw, and it's back to the same old shit of a beatdown angle.

^ You still haven't proven a valid reason of why Cena is 'teh devil' apart from him being a 'motherfucker that should fucking die' apparently.

I agree with chess on this one, but don't the WWE usually do this anyway? Face starts strong, ambush, heel gains heat, miracle comeback, etc. Idk, I've seen it before though.

I dislike John Cena for the mere fact that he can't wrestle. He doesn't sell for shit. There trying to make him the next Hulk Hogan or whatever there trying to do. He's a hero to some little ass kids, not the real fans. It's like there trying to push him across to us as Superman.

He just got injured in August comes back in November and already gets the strap. What about the guys that carried the show while he was away. Its like the WWE saying hey take a back seat the all mighty god is back and your no longer needed.

Just like the movie The Replacements. Only difference it was about a team that wanted more money. The real team never made it to the playoffs. The replacement players carried them to the playoffs and than they decide to come back. With Cena he got hurt and guys like Batista, Chris Jecho, CM Punk, and others carried Raw and the World Heavyweight Championship. The day Cena comes back there throwing the title on him. It's like the WWE telling the guys that did carry the show while he was gone that they weren't worth shit.

THATS WHY I HATE JOHN CENA.

Fair enough. But seeing it as the WWE sees it:

Y2J's reign= 2.9 - 3-1

Batista one week reign= 3.0

Cena return= 3.3, with a peak of 3.5 during his promo.

As they say...there's no money in the cure...only the treatment.
Millions of people hate Cena, millionw love him. When Cena doesn't have the title it's a relief. When Cena has the belt however everyone wants to tune in to see him get his ass beat...or beat somebodies ass.

i think they did the right thing cause cena still is obviously not the underdog considering how many people it took to beat him down. he was fighting off jericho manu and rhodes and he didnt really start losing till orton got in there. the angle really brought everything together with jericho finally finding someone to do his dirty work and rhodes and manu finally joining randy orton...

It was fairly obvious that this was going to happen, after the fact the week before Cena beat the snot out of Jericho. I thought that it was pulled off rather well. It still made Cena look strong in a way, cos he was surviving against Jericho, Manu & Rhodes, and only got beaten when Orton ran in and hit him.

Ruck Fules by the way ;).

Please tell Mr. Cena to...oh I don't know...

LEARN HOW TO FUCKING SELL

You know I don't remember this many people complaining that Hogan didn't know how to wrestle or sell during the 80s.

The Jericho-Cena angle is more interesting after the beatdown. Cena is a face and Jericho is a heel. The heel almost always beats the everloving shitfuck out of the face. This leads to the face chasing the heel with the heel always avoiding any harm until finally the running ends and the two face off in a steel cage/no dq/beat the shit out of each other match. Cena beating Jericho up two weeks in a row would not make any sense at all. Plus now that Orton, Manu and Cody Rhodes are involved there are so many more directions that the feud as a whole can take.

Lol @ the Cena-Haters running out of redundant arguments like 'FIVE MOVES~!' or 'ZOMG HE NEVAR LOSES!' so know they've turned to selling.

Cena > Most.
