really good card, tag team title match looks like a thriller!

The two title matches should be good looking at the men involved in them, also, the 3-way match could steal the show imo. Looks like a decent card!

Bump! I started watching the show, and I'll probably post a mini-review when I'm done.

I actually caught this on PPV the other day. Odd considering they said no more RoH ppvs for Canada. Anyway, great show enjoyed the wrestling very much, but since I'm not aware of all the doings (ie: Age of the Fall, I mean I had heard of them, but since when is Delirious a member? I though Joey Mercury was too?) I can't comment on that, but it was for sure worth the $15 bucks for the show.

Delirious joined at the end of the summer. I think it was mostly due to the angle where he was trying to ask Daizee Haze on a date, and him getting rejected. Joey Mercury/Matthews hasn't been in ROH for a while, it might be a financial thing. I also heard he retired too, so yeah.

Haven't watched any ROH in a LONG time, so I'll try to get around if I DL this show.

Yeah, it was at Age of Insanity. Basically AOTF got in delirous's ear and told him they would be his family, and to forget dazie. Then she tried to get him not to join, and failed.

I just caught the PPV and a solid effort as always. A nice job of setting up the undercard matches. They reallly utilized the two hours well. Probably my favorite ppv thus far this year.

Heres the video of Delirous joining age of the fall.

The PPV was pretty good. I would have to say that Roddy vs. Nigel was kind of a boring match. The main event was amazing and it deserves all of the praise that it has been getting.

I think Nigel vs Roddy was real good, but not as good as their match from Without Remorse. That match, is probably one of the most underrated matches of the year. THe backbreaker off the top was pretty sweet with nigel falling on his head.

Finally managed to watch the show, and it did not dissapoint.

Austin Aries vs Delirious:***

Good choice for an opener, and one of Delirious' best single matches in a while. It was fast-paced, it was action-packed, and the post-match stuff helped to build towards the tag match, while also keeping alive the Jacobs-Aries feud.

Sara Del Ray vs "Toots":SQUASH

Not much to say. This was just there to get Sara some air time.

Eddie Edwards & Adam Pearce vs Erick Stevens & Brent Albright:**

This match was very WWE-ish. It wasn't bad, it wasn't great, it was just there.

Chris Hero vs. Jerry Lynn:***1/4

Maybe its because I'm a Hero fan, but I liked this match more than I did Lynn vs Nigel. Lynn looked great for a man his age, and Hero was his usual awesome self. It was a bit of an old-school match (Right down to the finish with the loaded elbow pad), but it was good.

Claudio Castagnoli vs Go Shiozaki vs Bryan Danielson:***1/2

Another good match. Castagnoli did a lot to solidify his status as a heel, and when it was down to Go vs Danielson, we got ourselves a great match. Danielson getting the win was expected (Since they've been teasing a Nigel-Danielson showdown on PPV for a while), but it was still a great effort by all involved.

Tag Team Scramble Match:**1/2

Flips, flips, and more flips. Seriously, if you weren't expecting this, then you've never watched Scramble matches in the past. I will say this, Necro came out of this match looking like a BEAST as he pretty much demolished everyone in the match at some point.

Nigel McGuiness vs Roderick Strong:****

Roderick is simply better suited to be a face than a heel. It started out slow, but it got really good after that. Nigel threw everything he had at Strong (Which seems to be the formula for Nigel's title matches), but he survived. Strong hit the Gibson Driver and got a near-fall out of it (I thought it was a three), but Nigel eventually got the win with the London Dungeon.

Tyler Black and Jimmy Jacobs vs Kevin Steen & El Generico:****1/2

Great match, great atmosphere, great reaction to the title switch. Nothing I say will do this match justice, so I'll just say it was a great match.

Overall Thoughts:Another solid outing for ROH on PPV. Other than the Ladies match, everything on the show was good. For 15 bucks, you can't ask for much more.

I loved the tag scramble match. Fast paced, lots of spots and everything. Fucking awesome when I think Jigsaw jumped off the top and Necro just punched him right in the face. I laughed.

IMO, The final two matches were good/great. Roddy & Nigel was real solid with a pretty strong ending. The main event tag match was awesome!

Well, well, well, If it isn't Soda Popinski from the ROH boards, Im assuming.

Welcome to the site.

Very good PPV from ROH, and I think Rising Above coming out Jan. 16th will be even better.
