Shawn is my favorite wrestler. But I've always questioned this. What

is the reason that the Heartbreak Kid has aged so much?

Is it the hair loss, plus all the weight he lost?

The hair and weight loss might have something to do with it.

It could also, and likely be the reason for the hair loss as well, be stress

Does he wrestle like he's older than his age?

No. So who cares.

I think all the stress the wrestling career puts on you might also have affected him. That and his troubled past with drug abuse.

^ Agreed.

The guy has been through so much during his career. He's had a great one though, and I'll probably have to hold back the tears once he retires

I'm sorry - but doesn't Shawn look to be 43??? I see 40 year old's every day who don't look as young and in shape as Shawn? I understand the fact that we are used to him being so charismatic and being a poster boy for good looks (hence the heartbreak kid gimmick) but come on - if you think logically he looks like a 43 year old.

And yes chessarmy - the tears will definitely have to be held back once he retires - I still get a lil' choked up when I see the "I lost my smile" segment.

He might have a hyperthyroidism. I dont know if he has that disease, but the condition I see him MIGHT indicate of having a thyroid problem.

lol, what?

And he looks perfectly in shape to me, look at the guys age man. Of course he is going to wear down a little bit as he gets older, but that doesn't mean he has hyperthyroidism :shifty:

^If you can notice the word, MIGHT? yeah thats just a possibility as he can have thyrotoxicosis (hyper-thyroid disease).

Some of the indications of that disease I can see on him tbh. But still he may not have suffered it, as I didnt look up his hormone T4 blood tests. Just a possibility like everyone is trying to assume or conclude on what would be the answer for the topic's question.
