Jeff Hardy has by means gotten one of the best type of development a wrestler can get. It was indeed shear excellence on how he pulled that promo off. Overall, I'm curious as to where this can lead Jeff in the future.

As for Jeffitude winning the World Heavyweight title? I see him winning it same time in the future, but this soon. I mean, after his current transformation, I feel that him winning the title would be toon soon.

But, then again, he has been very impressive lately and fans really are behind him so who know for sure.

Very cool new gimmick, very "Joker-esque". It does need a bit of fine tuning however...perhaps altered entrance...some new ring gear...ect ect. Neither of the Hardys have really broken away from the "Hardy" gimmick besides Matt's brief stint as "VEE-ONE-AH!!!" This could be great for Jeff and even better for Smackdown if he carries this out right. I'm just curious as to whether or not he'll make the transition to heel or not. I'de have to say this would rest upon whether or not he gets the title or not. I see him HHH narrowly escaping his next title defense and hopefully Jeff picking it up at the following PPV. A triple threat match really isn't the right place for him to pick up the title.

The problem is, if he gets a reign, how long could it be? I mean, let's face it, Hardy will not be main eventing this Wrestlemania

^ Ture but I am sure he will hold it until Mania and thus having another Triple or better yet an Edge reign and one of them will main event mania.

But either way I do see Jeff having a run no matter the length and it will establish him as a true competitor in the title hunt and he can have more in the future for better length.

i think jeff is definitely popular enough to main event wrestlemania. i think they could take a shot and let him win the title at wrestlemania... and i love the new gimmick. it just makes me like hardy more then i already did. also his match with taker was great on smackdown..

I believe that HHH vs Hardy would be a very likely Wrestlemania main event. Also, I think his match against Taker is the Smackdown MOTY. edit- for free tv

you know X Power I agree with it being MOTY but I disagree with Hardy / HHH for WM I see any of the following happening.

*~!Edge (c) vs. Triple H - Somehow Edge gets title back when he gets back from injury.

*~!This leaves Kozlov vs. Undertaker - Undertaker ends Kozlov's year long winning streak and Taker's streak continues as it was a streak vs. streak match.

*~!Then at teh Wrestlemania event earler in the show, Jeff wins teh Money in the Bank ladder match giving him the breifcase and he gets his first or second title run either a few months later cashing it in or cashing it in against Triple H or Edge at teh very end of the show?

Personally I see that being the most likely kayfabe wise.

So you're effectively saying CO or DQ win over HH at SS for Koslov then?

Re: The new Jeff:

Hats off to all involved.... Great promo and a well suited gimmick. Giving Hardy a bit of an edge to his character (rather than us having to solely buy into all the long played out 2-Extreme biznizz) should be the missing peice in the puzzle of his chasing a world title.

I'm no Hardy fan so I think it's ultra-commendable that they have sparkled my interest in him to the extent it has.

I'm still inclined to believe HHH will hold onto the title until WM, but I'm hoping that IF they have MITB this year that they have Jeff win it and cash in straight away on the winner of (what I predict to be) HHH v Edge (+ maybe Taker to make it a triple threat). 'Bout time they had someone cash in on
the night and I reckon it'd fit the new Hardy perfectly.

One down side to the gimick change tho'... They should have held back on Jeffs change of music ealier this year... How's his ring entrance meant to reflect his character when left with little choice but to vibrantly skip down to the ring by the feel-good mainstreamy rock vibe of his theme.

The match between Hardy and Taker was, IMHO, one of the most entertaining matches of the entire year. Was it MOTY? I'm not sure. It was a bit drug-out (no pun intended being as Hardy was involved) at points, and ended a little abruptly. However, it was good, no, real good.

Hardy's new gimmick is about the most entertaining thing on Smackdown at the moment (mainly due to the lack of Edge)...which leads me to how amazing I think Edge versus this Hardy would, will, and can be. Hardy takes title...Edge returns...big time feud...Hardy = main event.

Now, will Hardy be ME for Mania? I'm saying no. Mania is for the guys who have proven themselves before at mania in lower card matches. Hardy is on the road now (with this new gimmick the sky is the limit), but I highly doubt he has enough time to rocket to ME Mania status by the time it rolls around. Can't say that I wouldn't like to be proven wrong though, this guy found it and if he keeps it, that strap it his.

I agree. A Hardy/Edge feud for the title would be great. Especially now. We know Jeff will be extreme, because of the way heis being pushed, but I also think, when that feud happens, we will see the crazy, extreme, rated r edge from 2006. Because if you remember, right before he took time off, he went back to being the Rated R, crazy Edge, so hopefulyl when he comes back, he will be the same. What a match that would be.

In two words, hell yes. I love this new Jeff Hardy. I think Jeff should have done this a loooooooooooong time ago. It minimizes his weakness (IE rocking the mic) and maximizes his great energy that he brings to wrestling.

^Yup. However, I don't think we will be seeing him with face paint and all that every week. But that's ok. As long as he keeps up the extreme/bordering on insans stuff up, it's great.

I hope he keeps up the face paint...it really helps the gimmick out. Besides...Hardy is looooooong overdue for a complete overhaul. New wrestling attire...entrance music (his new music is fucking garbage)...just a whole new Jeff. And yes, if Edge returns with his bordering psychopath Rated R gimmick we saw him go out with than an Edge/Hardy feud would be more than a treat. I really think the two of them could pull off a WM main event. Edge as champ..Hardy as challenger. Have Edge return at SS...screw Hardy out of the title...have Edge pick it up the following months...start up a feud with Hardy. This would allow Hardy a month to run a little program with Taker and build up some momentum. Their program could be interupted by Kozlov.....or HHH. HHH/Taker or Taker/Kozlov for WM 25....either could work if done right. It would also give HHH the oppurtunity to turn heel and perhaps challenge Hardy for the title after WM.
