The 360 price cut REALLY helped.

Sony either does a price cut or get slaughtered by the competition this holiday season.

Even with the massive hype, LittleBigPlanet is a sales flop. Which is bad.

SOCOM Confrontation the dying franchise with no hype outsold the incredibly hyped LittleBigPlanet.

360 multi-plats are selling better.

MK Wii could possibly be the best selling game this gen it remains in top five every month so far.

Nothing good to say about Sony this month. Its only gonna get worse.

Imagine when the casuals see the 360 bundled with Indiana Jones and Kung-fu Panda for a low price on Black Friday. Imagine all the core gamers who want Gears 2 and Left 4 Dead(360). Its also on the cheaper system.

PS3 needs a price cut before Black Friday, the price is just too high which is why 360 will continue to dominante it.

Duh. I knew this kinda thing was going to happen to those idiots at Sony. They put all of their eggs in LBP's basket and it was a massive "undertaking" but it was too confusing a concept for most casual gamers (If there are any that have a PS3) to get excited and not good enough to warrant the craploads of hype for their core. It's like the reverse of how things are quality wise as the Wii is the worst system in terms of quality while PS3 is probably the best. The difference is the marketing giants and geniuses at Nintendo while Sony is run by overconfident 100% Grade A jackasses. =/

Black Friday is gonna be insane.

Sony should stop messing around an at least lower the PS3 SKU's prices down to $199 and $299 JUST for Black Friday. Something needs to be done.

With the new 45 chips coming out in 2009, i'm expecting a PS3 Slim along with a price cut.

Also I can't wait for those insane Black Friday deals.

Circuit City has Dualshock 3 for $30. I'm so there.

Right after Thanksgiving its gonna be hell at the stores and i'll be caught in the mix.

Barely? Its almost double of what PS3 sales are. PS3 out sold 360 for mostly every month up until now. 360 closed the gap so fast and it has the highest selling software.

Lowering the price 30 bucks still won't help it. Its gonna need a huge price cut or else get owned by the competition. People don't care about hardware for an over priced console. If they lowered the price they'd gain more profit because more people would buy it rather then the few that but it at the current price point. The cheaper sales would add up to be more then the combined regular sales.

Notice how i said this month? Maybe not barely but the 360 isn't slaughtering the PS3. Also im looking at worldwide hardware sales. Again for this month.

PS3 won't do better then 360 in the upcoming months.

Last Remnant will give it the advantage over PS3 in Japan just like the previous jrpg for 360. That'll last until White Knight Chronicles comes out a month later. As it stands PS3 will still have 360 beat in Japan.

360 is already taking ground in Europe over PS3. GoW2 was #1 on the sales chart.

The price cut will give 360 the advantage over PS3 in America.

Nothing looks good for PS3 whatsoever sales wise, but so long as Sony's making a profit somehow i'm good. Also the current and upcoming software for PS3 is the best around imo.

the thing is it doesn't really matter who's first or last anyways with the Hardware. All 3 systems individually are outselling the PS2 during its reign as current generation leader. It just goes to show how huge the video game industry has gotten in the last 5 years. Its just insane. No matter which system you prefer its hard to go wrong. They all offer something unique and they all have like fun games out there. Its just such a fun time to be a gammer.

In the United States its the biggest shopping day of the year. Its the day after the American Thanksgiving and every retailer has massive sales on product. Its when most americans do there Christmas shopping.

IMO, the 360 has the best library currently, and the sales are showing this. I want a PS3, but it's too damn expensive for what you're getting, TBH. Untapped hardware power means nothing if it's never used. Plus, Left 4 Dead, Gears of War II, Fable 2, and Banjo Kazooie, maybe Last Remnant as well, are on 360, while the PS3's big guns this fall are Resistance 2, LBP, and Valkria Chronicles, while Last Remnant arrives next year. I'll take the former over the latter. Sony needs to step up; their TGS showing was horrible, and pricing is still too high. Many core gamers do not care about Blu Ray, or the "power" of the Cell, they care for the games, like me, and if you're not delivering, the gamers go elsewhere for their fix. As for Nintendo, meh. I want a Wii, if for their 2007 catalog and Brawl, along with Madworld, TOS2, and Mushroom Men, and I'm pretty sure big games are going to come out in 2009, judging by Nintendo's development history. I'm going broke here, just bought SvR09 and I still have yet to buy Fable II, Dead Space, my JRPGs (Infinite, TOV, Last Remnant) and some other games, like Sonic Unleashed, Tomb Raider, Prince of Persia, and Chrono Trigger. Too many damn games. The beginning of next year won't be any better for my wallet.

Day after Thanksgiving. Stores have insane deals and limited price cuts along with midnight openings. Americans shop like crazy. Its the one time of year when I can touch girls and hit old people in a public store without getting in trouble. I'm taking part in it again this year.
