Vladimir Kozlov. I was doubtful that he would truly get over with the crowd as a heel, and instead we would get a feud with a massively over star like Triple H feuding with someone who gets no crowd reaction, like Kozlov.

But watching the last 3 weeks, Kozlov has actually gotten over, and it's not the usual USA chants, because that means nothing. If Kung Fu Naki was heel, he would get them as well, but he gets actual heat, actual boos from the crowd, and as I noted specially last Friday in England, they are actually worthy of someone main eventing.

So, did you really expect Kozlov to get this over? Do you think it will last?

I didn't expect him to get over this fast. I'm really suprised that they didn't give him a test run with a lower card title. It sucks that HHH will kill his momentum.

As I've said before, i'm not a fan of his. I don't think he's over. He's never had a PPV match, Hell, he's never been in a fued before. The wwe (poor) booking has launched his career, because they needed to throw another body at HHH. Smackdown doesn't have much left, HHH was taking out guys like Shelton, Kendrick, and MVP at one point. The wwe booking made kozlov out to be monster, and they set up a match with him and the biggest face. Of course, HHH opponent will get some reaction. Vickie Guerrero gets a reaction, does that mean she's good. Hell no, it doesn't in my book. HHH vs Kozlov is 100% NOT a draw. Only 5% of the fans at Cyber Sunday wanted to see this match.

I don't have a problem with them booking Kozlov this way. I just thinking he's going to end up like Khali, and Umaga.

I actually like him for some reason. I think he can actually eentually make a solid feud with someone. The one with HHH is ok, but his next one will be better IMO.
I think he is very good in the ring, and can be a credible monster. Plus, everyone likes to hate Russians, so he can get good heat.

I didn't think he would get over this quick. I kinda like him he is pretty good in the ring a bit green at times but i don't know he's kinda grew on me. I'M not sure tho if it is in fact really heel heat he is getting. Or is it that fact that he goes up against 2 of the biggest face's on SD as in Jeff and Trips. I'm not sure if he should have the a run with the WWE title yet. IMO Jeff will get a run before him, If that is the case and Jeff gets title i don't want to see Kozlov's monster gimmick Squashed by Trips either. Whats the point of building him up just to squash him. Guess we will have to wait n see.

Who knows Jeff might be the one who kills his momentum, he could win teh title with his new relentless gimmick that everyone is talking about and pin Kozlov not Triple H pinning him. Either way I would be extremely suprised if Kozlov won though he will have a good match and dominate but he will be the wwe's new umaga.

Honestly, no. I think they gave him a main event push way to soon. He's still green imo, they needed to give him some time to develop first, right now his feud with Triple H just doesn't interest me at all. Kozlov doesn't have enough star power and overness to be a credible challenger for the WWE Title right now. In a year or so, then maybe, but right now its probably the most predictable match on the Survivor Series card.

i see the dude to last in the main event scene as long as Vader or Ludvig borga did in there wwe time...

he is alright in the ring, but he is flat out boring on MIC, he gets decent heat at the moment.. but After his feud with HHH is he going maintain that heat feuding with someone else.

(Holly use to get big pops when he feuded with Lesnar in 2004 for wwe title and then after the feud no one cared about him...)

it's a good try for smackdown, but i don't see him reigning well on smackdown.. A option of transfering him to ECW to feud with Matt hardy could be a good choice option to keep things rolling on the lackluster roster depth of ECW...

Kozlov will probally maintain his heat. This isn't Raw it' Smackdown and considering the state of the roster in relation to it's main event scene Kozlov will continued to be book strong. The WWE has wanted to make him a star twice and this time it succeeded, also considering the fact they truned Khali face, Umaga, and Edge are out the WWE will have to keep him looking strong to have credible heels in the main event. Saying that I'll think it last no matter the outcome of this Sunday I think Kozlov has a chance, he got pushed at the right time, on a face heavy show, with a weak roster, and the WWE has builded up this story for months it'd be a waste to depush him.

I agree 100% with Montana. Vladimir Kozlov is supposed to be this unstoppable force much like Lesnar was when he debuted. Sadly, Kozlov isn't a Brock Lesnar. Kozlov isn't over because he has never had a worth while feud, he has never had a PPV match, he has never won a title, and he isn't a true heel. You know you are a real heel is people want to see your match to probably see you lose. Edge, now he is a true heel. People actually want to see him get his ass kicked, but they actually like the guy because he is a great superstar. Kozlov isn't. Kozlov has classic "La Resistance" heat where the crowd only cares about despising other countries. He has reverse Hacksaw Jim Duggan syndrome. At the end of the day, he isn't a Brock Lesnar or anything like that, he is just another GIGANTIC FOREIGNER like Umaga and Khali that can't get over because the fans can't or don't want to relate to him.
