What Is Your Favorite Hard Core Match Of All Time? The One That Sticks Out The Most Is Taz Vs Bam Bam Bigalow When They Fell Through The Floor. Also There Is The King Of The Ring In 96 With Undertaker Vs Mankind In The Hell In The Cell With Wwf. Mankind Goes Through The Announcers Table And Through The Cage And His Tooth Got Knocked Through His Nose But He Climbs Back In The Cage And Finishes The Match. This Was One Of The Most Intense Matches I Have Ever Seen.

Not a massive fan of hardcore, but here's a few matches that I rate of that particular ilk....

Shane O'Mac Vs Angle (KOTR-02)
Orton Vs Foley (Backlash-04)
HHH Vs Cactus Jack (NWO-00)
Taker Vs Mankind (KOTR-98)
J.Hardy Vs M.Hardy (Smackdown-99/00)
Shane O'Mac Vs Kane (???-03)

HIAC was 98, the first in 97.

Shane McMahon vs Kurt Angle will always stick out. How WWE fucked up with the glass always makes me chuckle.

I would have to agree with airfixx on most of his as those were classic along with pretty much every match on the original ECW. >_<

Since HIAC counts, then I'm guessing a steel cage match does. In that case, it's Jimmy Jacobs vs BJ Whitmer is a steel cage at SOH II. That's my favourite of all time.

Why? If you really want I can name some of my favourites.

Benoit v Sabu - Can't remember when but the one where Sabu broke his neck.
Guerrero v Malenko TV Title 1995' - They tied and after a grueling hour they all got a standing ovation, classic moment there i think.
RVD v Bam Bam.
RVD v Sabu - Stretcher match.
Taipai Death match - Ian v Axel Rotten.
Sabu v Terry Funk - Barbed Wire Match ECW World Title.

^^^^That's far from "pretty much every match". I stand by my point.

These are all on DVD's released by the WWE. It's pretty clear you don't know enough about the old ECW to say 'pretty much every match on the original ECW'.

^^^Aaaah, so more of the same old "ECW was amazing" declarations from peeps who haven't seen very much of it at all....

S'kinda like seeing the Sex Pistols at the 100 Club back in '76.... 'Everyone' claims they were there, but the venue was fucking empty on the night.

Lol, DX got cut down.

For me, I loved the Cage match and then the Ladder match that Matt Hardy and Edge had in their epic 2005 feud. And the Summerslam one.

Roddy Piper vs. Greg Valentine Dog Collar Match from 83-Brutal even by today's standards
Jimmy Jacobs vs. BJ Whitmer (I Quit and No Rope Barb Wire)-Holy crap. Probably two of the most brutal matches in IWA-MS history, and that's saying something.
Homicide vs. Steve Corino War of the Wire-Beyond brutal considering the hatred between the two men involved.
Cactus Jack vs. Terry Funk KOTDM 95-These two put hardcore on the map.
Necro Butcher vs. Madman Pondo 200 Light Tubes-Necro looked like a victim of a Jigsaw trap afterwards.
Ian Rotten vs. Madman Pondo (The scissors match)-Mutilation, nothing but pure mutilation.

The Benoit/Angle cage match from way back when is classic. Angle doing a moonsault of the top of the cage still makes me cringe.

Stevie Richards vs Tommy Dreamer. Good ol' ECdub nostalgia. Plus, it had Stevie Richards in it!!

Tommy Dreamer vs RVD. The last official hardcore match in WWE, and the end of the Hardcore title. Who better to kill off the hardcore than two ECW greats?

Triple H (c) vs. Mick Foley at Royal Rumble 2000 was fucking amazing. It was nothing but back to back violence. I would say that this has to be one of (or is) Triple H's best match in his career.

Randy Orton (c) vs. Mick Foley at Backlash 2004 was another Hardcore classic. That match really put over Orton with the fans and showed them that he wasn't just another pretty boy on the roster who was afraid to get his hands dirty.
