Ok so these two guys have had a few matches together now:

Armageddon 07 where Jeff won No1 Contenders Spot,
No Mercy 08 where Trips retained against Jeff,
Cyber Sunday where Trips again retained,

Obviously Jeff Hardy is "on fire" at the moment, he seems to be receiving the push he was first given late last year. The question is, how many more times do you think these tow guys will go at it in the future?

My other question to you all is, do you enjoy watching their matches? Do they have chemisty? Are they getting to the point now where they both need to start pulling out new tricks to keep you watching?

I have only seen their match from Armageddon 07, and I quite liked it. Their match at Cyber Sunday also looked pretty good, but that's all I can say on the topic.

Their matches, to be fair, were pretty good. Not show stealer's but above average. I think we will see another one at Survivor Series, with the inclusion of Vladimir Kozlov making it a Triple Threat. Well, that or Jeff vs. HHH Last Chance Match.

If you'd have told me last autumn (or "fall" as it is called in yankee talk! ;o] ), that I'd have enjoyed a multi match fued between the two I'd have laughed, but credit where credit is due... The guys are telling a good story and despite what the DUMB haters would have you believe, HHH isn't just chewing Hardy and and spitting him out.

At Armageddon Jeff proved to himself that he had what it takes to wear the world title.

Their match at No Mercy was excellent.... Once the match had unfolded, it would have taken a terminally cyncical person to have not felt that Jeff might just snatch it. Yet at the final push, Jeff left himself open and got out-manouvered by The Game.

Cuber Sunday, the match wasn't as good, but here we saw Jeff hit HHH with everything he had (and more) only to over-do it (see 2 swantons) as he has done in the past (see SSeries 01 tagtitle unification match) and ultimately lose.

Whether or not there is call for one more match I'm not so sure. In Kayfaybe the only reason Jeff even got his rematch was because the fans voted him in and (back to reality) unless they're actually planning on giving Jeff the title then a third straight loss against HHH would do jeff's credibility no good...

If they're gonna string the fued out any further, then have a triple threat or sumthing, avoid Hardy taking the loss and finally have HHH move on. Then, looking forward, have Hardy win Money In The Bank (if ther is one) at WM and start challenging again in the summer.

Ive quite enjoyed the feuds between the two so far. They seem to work really well and have good chemistry in the ring. I'm not sure how many more more matches they can do tho with out Hardy winning. But i got a feeling that trips is gonna keep the title till wrestle mania now, So with that in mind maybe as said above a triple threat were hardy doesn't take the loss so he doesn't lose credibility or momentum would be the way to go. That way HHH could move on away from Hardy till a later date. But you never know HHH may drop the belt before mania. But IMO it's to late now it should have been dropped cyber or earlier. So Trips needs to keep it till Mania now.

This is off topic, but why? ^^^

Why does Trips need to keep the title til Mania now? He could lose it at Survivor Series and the new champion could be solidified going into Mania. Im not suggesting that he lose the title to Hardy or anyone else, that just seems a little illogical...

^^^"Illogical"?

Why would they take the title off of him if they want him to ME WM (which, considering there are only 3 bonafide ME-ers on SD, seems extremely likely). Would be a waste of time and effort to strip him of the belt when they could keep him looking strong.

Crowning a new champ for no reason is "illogical".

See what has happened in Raw, both CM Punk and Chris Jericho hold the belt for about 2 months each, and what do they gain about it? Nothing, because now that Batista has it, we all know Batista or Cena was going to be the man winning the belt because it's obvious Batista vs Cena II is going to happen at Mania for the championship.

On SD, Triple H vs Edge, Triple H vs Taker or a Triple Threat is the ONLY, the ONLY real main event they could have at Wrestlemania. Sure, some people can dream about Jeff Hardy going on to Mania and finally beating Triple H, but that doesn't scream Wrestlemania to me. Should Triple H lost the belt, it should have been at Unforgiven to Jeff Hardy, and then got it back at Survivor Series, but now, we need Triple H to have the belt, so that the challenger for Mania starts taking shape and the big match up begins getting hype.

^Agreed. SD has only about 4 proven m/es. If Jeff woulda won the belt it should of been at Unforgiven or Cyber and he woulda lost it at Royal Rumble. It's to late for Hardy and Kozlov to win it. Taker and Edge are the only 2 that can hang with Trips in the Mania big picture. So, Trips will go on to Mania defending the title against Big Show, Hardy, and Kozlov until Edge, Undertaker, or both challenge Trips at Mania, in which he match is a toss up.

The feud is pretty good match-wise but it has nothing really on behalf of storylines apart from Jeff trying to get the title after all his failed attempts.

The two have some great, storytelling matches and I think this feud could be the 2008/09 equivalent of 'Taker/Batista. They don't have to have an ongoing feud but they could have an on-off feud which could go on for a while and they could have some pretty cool matches too.
