To me, with the announcement of Foley being co-owner (or at least a huge investor) of TNA, it's a move to have Jarret eventually turn heel and make this war between young and old even bigger.

IMO, the main event Mafia will get to Jarret in attempts to have a power figure on their side, only to have the young guys have Mick Foley on their side as the counter part, and that way totally and completely divide TNA in two for this feud.

That seems pretty logical imo but who really knows with TNA. I would prefer Jarrett to stay face for the time being and not be part of the Mafia. Not everybody needs to be in the old v new feud.

I can't agree with you more, Jarrett turning heel at this point in time is going to be very beneficial for TNA. Jeff Jarrett being the leader of the Mafia and Mick Foley being the leader of the older guys is going to turn into a solid feud for TNA.

Not everybody needs to be in the old v new feud.

There are lots of other guys on the roster who are going to bring variety into TNA Wrestling but Jeff Jarrett shouldn't be one of them, he needs to be in the Mafia.

Wow! Never thought of this, but this sounds freaking awesome! I was pumped up for this feud and it let me down at BFG, but if this happens, I hope we see the HUGE war that all of us, I know you have, have been hoping for.

Let's just hope this does not go the same way as the Invasion Storyline :shifty:

Yeah TBh Jarrett going heel is one of the first things I thought of when I heard Foley's annoucement.

I think it will be very good if pulled off correctly.

i think it would make more sense for mick foley to betray jerret and for foley to go with the old guys and for jerret to go with the young guys. hes with them cause hes the founder of the "up and coming" promotion TNA and they are all up and comers..

All the pieces fall into place perfectly, but I just don't see it happening. I think the Main Event Mafia is pretty much completed for right now. They have enough members, what TNA needs to do is not add to that stable, but try and bring in guys to side with Joe and AJ. A 4 on 2 feud will only make the young guys look weak, they need to find more young guys (MCMG plz) to side with Joe and AJ to even this thing up.

Meanwhile, Jeff Jarrett can go back to his backstage duties

Should Jeff or Foley turn heel, it should not be done for at least a year. TNA seems to have such a short attention span that everything needs to be done right away. Does anybody remember the Kings of Wrestling? They tried to do the entire nWo angle in a few months.

What TNA needs to do is have the Young Guns come SOOOO close after SOOOO long to beating the MEM, but all of a sudden be screwed over. That creates heat and emotion. From there, they work even harder to overcome an even bigger obstacle. That's how you create a babyface in wrestling, but TNA seems to be inept at such.

The division of TNA into this storyline would be nice of course if they can pull it off and do it right and keep it made believable. That will be the key to its success or its failure. But as for the idea altogether, I like it and I am looking forward to it!

Just out of curiosity I am still scatching my head over the fact that Christian Cage himself is undecided on to what half of TNA he is in. He fights young guys and fights old guys sometimes. He gets a good pop occasionally and he is then considered a tweener liked but sometimes not ? :s. I think he should join AJ and Joe hopefuly. But MCMG also sound good if not.

I think Mick Foley would go into MEM before Jarrett does, as Jeff say's on Impact TNA was made to give the younger guys a chance, so it would make sense for him to join the New Bloods.
