- WWE did not get off to a good start for their MyNetwork TV debut. This past Thursday, they had their debut show on the network, The Wrestlemania special. Even with all of the advertising and pushing for the show, it only did a 1.2 broadcast rating. What really stands out is that the magic special after the show aired, did a 1.4. WWE can not be happy with that number.

Wofa. ECW prolly got a bigger number then that are you kidding me? Well Smackdown's was prolly awesome.

Maybe because one of the biggest satellite TV company's, DirecTV, doesn't even carry the station? Great move to move it to that station.

Um i have Direct TV and I get My Network TV. It is the old UPN and a loval channel where I live so don't say Direct TV don't carry it cause it depends on the local TV affiliates and most cities hae it. Most cities have PBS, NBC, FOX, ABC, CBS, CW & My Network TV (which used to be UPN). I think that once it was no longer UPN and had any good shows on the station people just forgot it was even there. I think that was the problem. But i mean WWE wanted to keep Smackdown on Local TV and that was the only local channel that was interested in wrestling.

I have all of those, except MNTV. How Blue.

Strange that SD was actually a strong show last episode. I think the viewers of this station have less wrestling fan base than the other networks?

I said it once, I'll say it again. The Wrestlemania thing was an hour long video package, I guarantee you people tuned in, saw what it was, and changed the channel

Peepshow, we live in relatively the same place and I get MyNetworkTV. It's on channel 50 for me.

That is absolutely awful. I don't know why it was, cause I don't know if everyone in the states gets it, but that's bad.
And I hear the wrestlemania thing sucked, what was wrong with it (I didn't watch)

Yeah move SD back onto thursday because then people will be at home that night thinking "what can I do, I feel like watching GOOD wrestling" so they will skip past Impact to Smackdown :p But seriously, more people are at home on weeknights and Friday is usually the day they leave to go to other places and do things so they will all miss SD. Thursday > Friday for them.

Ha.

I guess that's not bad. Plus, those Magic Specials used to kick ass back in day.
Let's just hope they move up to the real FOX soon...

^lol wow on the watch GOOD wrestling :D

Seriously... SD wasnt all that bad actually. With packed stars on one show, it made for a pretty decent night. I actually watched ALL 2 hours this week, and it wasnt all that bad. The 8 man tag lasted a solid 35 or more mins, which was a good match in itself.... and the Main Event was decent too. The only problem is Kozlov, he is such a worthless shit ass waste on SD. All he does is rush the ring, and beat up HHH when SD is over, thats it. He jobs shitty guys, and whoops them... cut him already

Plus, the hour long WM24 show was awesome. Good view for people that never saw that wrestlemania imo (but a move for SD to Thursday's would be ultimately perfect)

The old UPN is the new CW Network, not MyNetwork. MyNetwork is nothing but syndicated shows, it's the new TBS. Move SD! back to Thursdays, Friday television never pull in good ratings, if they really wanted it to sink they'd moved it to Saturdays. Make them battle Cops and AMW for ratings.

LOL. They kind of threw out quite a few shots in that episode and yet they get 1.2. Stupid move on WWE to move it to that channel.

I'm confused. Is this the rating for the Mania replay or for the actual episode of SD?
