Batista requested if he could take time off after WM24/Edge's Return....

- Edge is expected to be returning within the next few weeks. The idea originally was to have him stay gone long enough to sell the ending of the Hell in a Cell match with The Undertaker at SummerSlam but they wanted The Undertaker to be fully established in a new program before bringing him back. Edge was banged up but there was no serious injury that has kept him out this time.

The storyline is that Vickie Guerrero is going to lead Big Show to the WWE Title, which looks like a Triple H vs. Show feud coming up. No word yet where Edge will fit in with everything, but it's possible he could screw Hardy or Triple H the match at No Mercy and work with whoever he costs the match.

- Batista requested to take time off following WrestleMania 24, but management talked him out of it due to the lack of roster depth. Batista feels that he will never return to his status of three years ago when he was the top star. He has talked about starting an acting career.

Edge's return looks good although the possibilty of a Show vs. HHH feud sucks. This could mean Hardy loses. Batista is bitching again and he could go the way of The Rock.

Batista cant even remember his lines in a simple promo. They will just give him more money and keep him in the main event but with no title. Fuck him imo, he is not nearly as big as a draw and never will be again. I will lmao if he goes to TNA.

Edge returning at Mo Mercy would be awesome if he attacked HHH. If he attacked Hardy then we would see Big Show/HHH eventually which I am not pissed about as they put a good feud on on Raw in '05/'06. We would then also get to see the pure awesomeness of Edge/Hardy. If he attacked HHH then we would see Edge/HHH done properly in a great feud that could possibly lead into Wrestlemania. Then Hardy could win and feud with Bigshow which is new and could work. He would then elevate Benjamin/MVP for a while before hopefully eventually lead to him losing the title to Taker and a 3 Way at WM25 with Undertaker/HHH/Edge.

Just my hopes, though option 1 will probably be what happens.

Batista is getting boring and repetitive day by day, the only news I hear is him bitching about how badly the WWE is using him or he is injured and wants to leave for "some time off". Giive me a break guys, he is asking in-directly for a release!

fuck Batista, I just want him off my TV screen. He is stale as shit, and he even has the audacity to COMPLAIN about his current spot even if he is in the main event of basically every show. Someone needs to tell Tista that you can still be a main eventer WITHOUT the fucking World Title.

And as for Edge, I'm happy that he's coming back. Smackdown! has been really boring without him, I just hope WWE sticks him in a good feud

Ok....HHH vs Big Show would be a good ass fued..and edge should 100% NOT be involved with that and especally not with Taker...Edge vs Jeff would be ok Edge vs HHH would be good...I can see Edge vs HHH after Edge screws HHH out of the title at No Mercy, Jeff in a short title run fueding with idk Kozlov or some shit...HHH eventually wins it back and Faces Taker for the title at WM25

Imo, Edge vs. Taker really shouldn't end until the former turns face or at least helps punish Vickie, or the latter turns heel. It really doesn't make sense for Taker to set Psychotic Edge on fire, only for Edge to come back and those two don't give each other a second glance.

As for Batista, sorry, the general public has learned that you can barely speak. Steroids and somehow cheating the test are the only things keeping you out of the midcard.

I don't understand Batista..the guy as always one the best feuds, he's always used correctly, almost never job , won again HBK and Cena this year. He has a great spot, he doesn't need the world title yet. He has to understand that he can't always be the "money" guy he was when HHHmade him in their feud
