Note: The PS3 is region free so you can import games

Major misconception there my friend. PS3 system is not region free. All first party games are region free, but only a few 3rd party titles are as well. Meaning the game itself has to be region free for it to work on your regions system. If the game doesn't support region free (which most 3rd party titles do not) then it has to be for your region. So importing games may not be the smartest thing to do.

Damnation
Dead Space
Fallout 3

Nintendo DS:
Chrono Trigger
Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood

I don't own a PS3 or a Wii, or a powerful PC because I can't afford 'em. If I could, I'd buy for the PS3: Resistance II and LBP. For the Wii, I'd buy the games that were released LAST YEAR, since none of the ones this year interest me except TOS II. For the PC: Crysis Warhead. FYI, Shaun White's Snowboarding is MULTI.

You gonna need to back that info up d00d. I've imported Cross Edge, Valkyria Chronicles, Disgaea 3, and JP MGS4. They're all 3rd party. PS3 is 100% region free like the PSP.

Which explains why you can make different regional accounts. For example I have European PSN on my U.S. PS3.

Now Blu-Ray disc, most of them are region locked.

EDIT-Developers can choose whether or not it'll be region locked. But a majority of games on PS3 aren't locked including 3rd parties.

All Blu-Ray is region locked....however, my information comes direct from Sony. It is true that many 3rd party companies have chosen to not region lock there games, but more of them are starting to as they are losing money by not doing so. The point is, the PS3 system is Not Region Free, which is what you claimed.

And just because Konami of Japan decided not to region lock MG4 doesn't mean they didn't region lock it here. I can tell you for a fact that most North American released 3rd party games are region locked. And the reason being going back to the losing money is because games are cheaper here then in Europe. And in most cases North America gets it before Europe. If the PS3 was completely region free or if all the North American games were 100% region free no one would buy games in europe anymore. Even Sony is thinking about region locking there 1st party titles in North America as there European buisness is suffering.

No wait. Are you fucking kidding me. If not I'm getting a Ds. I have that game for Snes and I STILL play it. That game had it all.

But...The future refused to change.
