Even though, his sidekick, Hornswoggle is very popular, I think it would be a wise booking move to turn Finlay heel at this point of his career. Even though, Finlay's career is winding down, he still has a lot to offer to the business and I think turning Finlay heel, again, will prove that. If Finlay turns heel, then I see a ECW Championship run in his future, which could make him one of the top guys in all the WWE and also ECW is in extreme lack of top heels. A big heel move for Finlay would be to attack and get rid of Hornswoggle as his sidekick, but the longer Vinnie Mac is amused by the little midget, the longer he will stay on WWE/ECW programming.

I agree completely. Finlay can still lift Kane on his back for a Celtic Cross, so he's still got enough to be a main eventer. This Hornswoggle thing is killing his career.

I was thinking the same thing, than I thought how will he get rid of Roxxie but then I realized why don't they build up the Heel turn really slowly- what they should do is put Finlay in matches on ECW against people like Stricker and random people and Hornswaggle does his usualy run in to cheat Finlay and help him win but he stuffs up once or twice and he gets knocked down - Finlay then says what the hell are you doing until the point where he is fed up with him as a partner / manager / whatever he is and then hits Hornswaggle for the celtic cross....
Hornswaggle a while later comes down with a new patzee like matt hardy or something more better to be Festus and feuds wiht Finlay who is heel for turning on Hornswaggle?

Why isnt hornswaggle dead yet? I mean seriously, the only way we're going to EVER see Finlay hold a belt, is if its the tag team titles with the midget. I don't know what WWE was thinking giving Finlay a little Midget son, but all he's doing is holding Finlay back.
Does anyone remember when Finlay debuted? He crushed the crap out of Matt Hardy and lost by DQ. That by itself made Finaly look like a total badass on Smackdown. I mean come on, the guy was destroying people left and right, EVERYONE hated him.. but look at him now. He comes out to some gay music and dances hitting Hornswaggle on the head with some fake Sheliegh or however you spell it.
I do see Finlay becoming ECW champion in the future, no doubt with that at all, problem is... do we actually want to see this happen? Back last year, I thought Finlay was going to win the World Title sometime but the way that they're using him now, only looks like he'll win the ECW Title.
I think that Hornswoggle is keeping him back and he still will but unless Finlay turns heel and gets rid of Horns someway, he'll not be a "proper" World Champ.

Fuck yes. Because of that little homo Hornswoggle i haven't been able to like Finlay in a while. It sucks because when Finaly debut he was easily one of my favorite wrestlers and my favorite to watch in the ring. My dad use to diss wrestling about being fake but when he saw Finlay wrestle his jaw dropped. So please die Hornsoggle and bring back the badass Finlay that i loved.

A heel turn would prob work well for Finlay, but with regard to the supposed lack of heels already...
Henry, Morrison, Chavo, Miz, Knox immediately spring to mind... Not TOO bad really.

It's really awful what they've done to Finlay. The guy can work a match and EASILY be an ECW Champion if he was under his old heel persona from o6-07. yet they have him prance around with a leprachaun.
Turning both heel would work well imo. Little Bastard was pretty awesome, slipping out from under the ring and all that. Plus he attacked Cole, so that gives him some plusses in my book.

IMO, Finlay has a lot of things, but star quality isn't what immediately springs to mind.

IMO Chavo operates fine as he is even if it is "without a gimmick" (Sure he's meant to be 'The Mexican Warrior' or somethin' tho'). He gets heat and has decent matches. The other guy refered to was Morrison and there's no way in hell Finlay has more star power than him.
Re: Knox... Not saying I'm a fan, but I can defo see them pushing him up the ECW roster (for the same reason that the aforementioned Snitsky is still on the WWE roster at all.).
