Henry/Hardy rematch & ECW title

Fell asleep during ECW... What was the outcome of the title match?

I'm assuming Henry retained as a title change woulda no doubt spawned a thread on here, but did they actually have a decent match this time around?

Any ramifications for future fueds or title challenges?




On a more general note, who do you think is next up for a title shot?

I just downloaded it and saw Mark Henry holding the belt in the air so I guess he kept the belt, because Mark Henry = RATINGZ!

Next up for a Title Shot, hmmm I'm not sure on that one, maybe Finlay, or John Morrison, I'd like Evan Bourne to get a go but I think it's a bit early.

Yeah, I think it'd be interesting, in the interests of building on the initial great reception for Bourne, to give him an unsuccesful, but spirited title shot (where he still looked good), but unfortunately Henry is just not the champ to have in place for that idea...

I think Morrison Vs Bourne is ya only opportunity for that based on the pecking order and heel/face landscape on the show right now.

[edit] I s'pose there's Chavo too, but I don't see him getting another ECW title run any time soon.

couldn't you have just gone to wwe.com and have a look at ecw results ? thats what I did when I missed ECW this week even though I usually miss it its boring.

Could have done, but may not have ended up chatting with the lovely members of the IWF into the bargain...

(Besides ya hardly gonna get an OPINION about anything on WWE.com are you?)


For what it's worth, minute for minute, I find ECW the to be best WRESTLING fix of the week (I think the roster is pretty strong right now too)... I just don't watch it very much because of when it's shown here.

Nah, I wasn't bored, just tired.

For what it's worth I find Matt Hardy boring, regardless of his work-rate... I was just particlarly interested cos these 'one'-night later rematches often result in TV title changes (especially given the joke that was the ECW match @ Summerslam).
