@Moose I found out why Sami didn't resign with IMPACT, at the time. Apparently, he left because he did all he could there and wanted to venture elsewhere and keep his story going and bring new ideas to other places.

I would say he didnt do much of anything in TNA. He didnt get a decent run with the world title because they wanted to be the first company to put the belt on a woman (which backfired in their face) and then he never left the midcard after that.

The Tessa and Sami angle was built over like 12 months. It was actually one of the better built main events. The Covid stuff with Tessa certainly marred HER run with the belt, but Sami got to be a bastard heel champion during that angle.

Interesting debut match for Crist here considering his running mate joined the Calling.

Not the most inspired choice I feel, considering these guys are very much in the same realm of hardcore wrestlers. Probably woulda liked a more unique matchup but I'm sure there are creative reasons why they're running with this.

I’m feeling like something is being planned here. Sami just joined Page’s Calling after kicking Akira out and one month later Sami’s oVe partner is debuting in a title match with RSP?

If Sami goes to mlw, it's great addition for company but man I be very meh that a bigger company didn't sign him. That could be wishful thinking on my part but he's the one guy I want to see in AEW. I feel like he's very much like Eddie Kingston where he's got a story waiting for him with Moxley that could once again revive his career. Then again maybe he is happy just being at home, and letting Jess OF & TNA Money support them. Sami def had a good stretch of years where he was non stop.

I agree but I do think there is a story with mox imo like even if it was just that and then he went to roh I be completely fine with that.
