^ That has to be the dumbest post ever. You know they are dickriding, but you haven't seen the movie. Well let me just say that I don't think his performance was overrated, I was never a Heath Ledger fan until I saw this. And honestly, when he died, I didn't care.

The acting was good, Heath Ledger as the Joker was amazing, and him being death has nothing to do with it as I have seen it 3 times and each time I go half the people don't know that Ledger died.

Ledger managed to take away our image of Jack Nicholson's Joker and make it his, he outacted Nicholson. What I do think that has been influenced by the death of Ledger is the supposely Oscar win. I bet that if Heath Ledger were alive, even with the amazing acting he made, a movie like Batman wouldn't be the first one being considered in the Academy Awards

Nobody knows? It was all over the news that he died, for a whole week it was on the front page pretty much.

Wow, some of you suck ass. The Joker is one of the best characters ever and if you don't think so, it's pretty obvious you haven't read the comics. The Joker is seriously fucked up, not like that smurf the Penguin, who's more laughable than anything.

I thought at first that Heath was a fucked up choice but when saw the movie, I quickly changed my mind. He is pretty much spot on with how the Joker is supposed to be like, not the happy, pussy ass Jack Nicholson character (though I like Jack, he was just too "happy" to be the Joker).
