Wrestling's Trade Deadline

Finishline

Drop the Mike
In the last 24 hours, sports fans saw the NFL Trade Deadline come and go, along with a blockbuster NBA trade sending James Harden to the Clippers.

That got me asking, what would a wrestling trade deadline look like? What moves would you make?

PARAMETERS-
- Can trade among companies (WWE to AEW/NWA/MLW/NJPW etc)
- Trade must take place October 31st (so no current champions in any company)
- If you see a trade that might be "unfair" to one side or the other, call it out and decline/counter!

Would love to see what everyone cooks up and what plans they have for those who trade to each company.

Here's a trade...

Jacob Fatu to WWE
Apollo Crews & Ashante Adonis to MLW

- Fatu helps develop the Bloodline feud and potentially a top star in 5 years.
- Crews has flopped since his Nigerian gimmick with Commander Azeez, get him to MLW and help younger guys and be the face of that brand as UHAA NATION!
- Adonis has watched Swerve and Top Dolla exit the company, he lands in a place he can develop and start a singles career while B-Fab can have a single relaunch in WWE by herself.

Bayley to AEW
Mercedes Martinez & Diamante to WWE

This gives WWE another womens tag team to use.
This would be such a steal if AEW pulled that trade off haha. If I'm WWE, you'd have to consider throwing in Thunder Rosa. Thunder could get a fresh start in WWE and actually be a women's champion, which I don't see from Mercedes or Diamante.

Mercedes Mone to WWE
Becky Lynch to NJPW

I’d just love to see Becky in Japan
Mercedes crying now she's back in WWE lol... watched an episode with her from the previous season of Barmageddon and it took halfway through the show before I realized it was an old episode.

Hidden Blaze

The Wanted Man

I mean maybe. But at the same time, WWE is using Bayley as a jobber who’s just putting everyone else over (maybe it’s her choice) so I don’t know if they see much value in her. But I mean if Thunder Rosa would be who it take to pull it off, so be it. :lol

Wardlow for Butch
Two young talents victims of poor booking. Stocks probably higher 2-3 years prior, but this trade gives both a fresh start in their new place without the companies losing much.

Give me Pete Dunne vs Bryan Danielson!

WWE: David Finlay
NJPW: Sheamus
OKC Thunder: 2 first round picks
Just imagining Sheamus and all the hard-hitting affairs in New Japan (Ishii and Suzuki for example) that's a solid deal for New Japan. And then WWE can purely go off potential with the Finlay pick, and getting David to work with his father.

And of course OKC is going to get those draft picks hahaha

Storm Trooper

If I can be Storm Trooper for a Minute
LOVE the thread idea.

Fuck it I got a good one. 2 teams with expiring contracts. Give both performers a chance with a new audience. If it don't work easy out for all sides and hell you can always resign the original guy too once their contract is up.

WWE sends Drew McIntyre to NJPW for Will Ospreay.
