Prior to his release last Thursday, there was an idea for Trevor Murdoch to be involved in a program with MVP on SmackDown. An angle was proposed for them to do another "Odd Couple" angle. The idea was for them do some comedy segments, and then feud with Murdoch as the babyface. However, it probably didn't get off the drawing board because it would have been too similar to MVP's drawn-out program with Matt Hardy that only recently ended.

Not a bad idea for a feud. Good way to get Murdoch over as a face and MVP as a heel. But if it went on too long it probably would have gotten boring. However I doubt they would have invested the time into a Trevor Murdoch feud for it to get stale. Personally I think this would have been okay.

Feud wouldn't have been bad, but MVP deserves better than a feud with Murdoch.

imo MVP is just below getting a major push but hes above small feuds with people like murdoch. im thinking he pretty much has to feud with kennedy hardy or umaga right now or maybe if they can put him over khali it would be good...

The feud would have probably been decent, but I'd rather see MVP get a big push. With WWE pushing all the young talent recently, I think MVP should be next in line

WWE are full of original ideas for MVP :smh

i agree! with pretty much everyone comments. MVP should be moving forwards not backwards. I'd like to see the WWE continue the "free agency" angle, and perhaps have him float to SD to bring the US belt back to SD. Earn his keep so to speak. I think that would be best considering it doesnt look like he's in line for a main event push. (which is too bad) Although im sure we will see MVP vs Kennedy/Jeff Hardy too this year.

that could have helped Murdoch a lot, but it would have been a bad thing for MVP. He deserves more, and hopefully, his feud with Kennedy , w/ Umaga will elevate the three men

This reminds me of that Booker T and Goldust angle but I have to admit that was at least funny at one point but yea this would have just been sad...
