We all saw Wildcat Chris Harris debut on ECW as New Talent Initiative's Braden Walker. What did you think of his debut against Estrada?

It was cool that he won and all, but I have to admit, that debut was far less than I expected or hoped for. He is more experienced than people think, but the arena was dead, and I don't think that was the right foot to start off on in ECW, I wasn't happy with it at all.

Is he as big of a balloon as people have been saying?

Yes. The deal is, Chris Harris has never been that good (Same for Storm, but that's another story). Its why Harris always excelled in tag-team action. He had someone who could help hide his weaknesses (Being generic, no charisma).

And yes, he is FAT! I don't know what happened, but it looks like Braden Walker ate Chris Harris >_>

ya i saw him but he just debuted as one of teddy longs new talents. i was hoping they would actually hype up a debut for him but atleast he finally made it out of fcw. he looked decent in the ring but the top rope cross body was a shitty way of giving him the win...

If I'm not mistaking, the reason that WWE change people's names that was in other well known Wrestling Companies, so they can avoid being sued for it.

As for Chris Harris debut, I didn't catch it, but from the post that I've read in this thread, it seems like this was a bad booking decision.

Bob Norris >.<...(To XBA post)...

...but yea the debut was boring...I didn't even watch half of the match as it did nothing to hold my attention...and if thats the best he can bring to the table...Then he's pretty much going to be no more then the next Snitsky...

IMO it was terrible, they could have atleast tagged him up with Lance Cade, that would have suited Harris better.

Atlas Ortiz...Ricky Ortiz

I'm going to use some of the WWE's "logic" here. My guess is they changed his name to Ricky Ortiz, to avoid confusion with Tony Atlas (Since the dude was called Atlas Ortiz), who now seems to have a role on tv.

lol WWE is stupid, that was the same scenario with CW Anderson, they changed his name from CW Anderson to Christopher W Anderson because they brought in CM Punk and were going on the CW with SmackDown! lol.

Ehh, a so so debut. I think some people over hyped Chris Harris. I never saw much in him. He's a good addition to ECW. The brand who people who got raped by the draft. But i think ECW is a lot more exciting with these new faces.

Ah man, they changed atlas dabone to atlas ortiz, to rickey ortiz...thats lame.

I think Harris messed it up for himself by gaining so much weight after he left TNA. He looked way to plain during his debut match but hopefully he will lose the weight and become a half decent member of ECW.

WWE has to stop with the names, i dread to think of what they might call Colt Cabana when he gets called up.

At the Copa....they fell in love

they really need to call Colt up. Even if they give him a stupid name, he would be so much better than Ortiz and Walker.

Braden Walker really wasn't impressive, he looked so generic, and his offense was so weak. I really don't see anything big happening for him in the future, he really wasn't made to be a big deal. Now I'm hoping for Ron Killings' Smackdown debut...
