Yeah, the thread title may have been a little exaggerated (Cooked food isn't all that great) but Romero is easily one of the more consistent workers in Ring Of Honor. He never fails to be anything short of impressive. His greatness isn't limited, we all know he's a skilled athlete, but he has a certain aura about him that other workers lack. He has the natural ability to work the crowd. In my honest opinion, I'd say he's one of the best heels in Ring Of Honor, based on that alone. Nothing he does seems forced, its almost hard to explain. He's vastly underrated, and should be a heavyweight contender somewhere down the line.

With the recent NRC troubles, where does that leave Romero? I'm not sure where Ring Of Honor is going with it, but if another member is thrown in the NRC, and Romero is thrown in yet another tag-team, I will be disappointed. Since day one, he's been thrown in factions and I'm tired of it. Not sure how you guys feel, but I honestly believe its time for him to make noise as a singles competitor....opinions?

Yea Romero would work great as a singles wrestler, he is great in the ring and I think ROH should build him up as a credible World Title contender. I would keep him heel though, he is pretty good at drawing heat

It goes like this... AZUCAR!!!

Romero's is different because he's actually got some charisma. He rarely speaks on the mic, but when he does, he always sounds more natural than other people on the roster (I'M LOOKING AT YOU, ROOOOOODERICK!)

And I do agree that he could be a great singles competitor. He's been great as Black Tiger in numerous feds and he's had very good matches in ROH against Joe (Before he got knocked out in the match), KENTA, Danielson among others. Maybe its because he doesn't have the following that others do, maybe its because he's small even by Indy standards, but for some strange reason, ROH just feels the need to place him in a tag-team all the damn time.

I think the fact he likes to go to Japan so frequently hurts him from moving up the card in ROH. He is one of my favorites, but i do have a lot. I think Romero should go his seperate way, and not stay in NRC or switch to SNS. He does seem to be a natural on the mic too.

I really don't know why Davey is getting more attention than Romero from the fans, I'm more of a Mr. Azucar fan. His style is unique with more strikes and submissions than anyone else. But like Montana just said, Japan and Mexico could be what hurts his push. I don't know how him leaving Strong would be, maybe he could end up as a new hired gun like Albright was before.

And his entrance music is GREAT.

I havent yet to see anything of Rocky Romero 2007/2008 work... But what i have seen.. he is a good a wrestler also a great tag Wrestler, I think he is underrated as he doesn't get praise that much...

Romero is the better worker out of the Havana Pitbulls.. But that duo is great.. But i am looking forward to NRC when i have reach it...

i reckon Him a Singles Run could be well for him... if anyone from the ROH roster to get him to work with.. I would choose Bryan Danelson or Chris Hero firstly
