Homicide insults internet wrestling fans

The Sun has an interview with TNA wrestler Homicide and he is quite critical of Internet wrestling fans, calling them "idiots" & "dorks" and that they deserve to be "shanked." "America is a joke when it comes to wrestling fans," Homicide said. "I'm going to say it out loud. We got good wrestling fans and we got smart marks who are a bunch of idiots and dorks sitting at a computer and thinking they are better than a wrestler or a booker." The interviewer points out that the U.K. also has its share of "smart marks." Homicide replies, "But not like the ones in the United States. Over here they deserve to get shanked. The UK fans are really great, they're respectful. If you are a smart mark, be respectful."

haha, go Homicide! I dont like smarks either, they think they are above and beyond everyone else just because they know a little bit more than the average wrestling fan about what happens backstage. The fact is, I dont care who you are or what you know, if you have never been a part of Professional Wrestling as in, WORKED for a wrestling company, then you are like everybody else...a MARK! I dont care if you know this or know that, you are a mark, you buy the PPVs, you buy the DVDs, and you watch the TV shows. You are a mark, we are all marks, and all of you need to accept that...or at least the smarks do....

If find it extremely annoying the way some people carry on like they know how to run a fed, whilst totally neglecting to consider the issues that would come into play running a mulit-million (or billion) dollar business.

Not sure saying people deserving to get "shanked" is the way to go about it, but I generally agree with his sentiments...

Especially his pro-UK comments! LOL

I do have to say this... It was the same fans that he's criticizing that were supporting him back when he was struggling to make it in smaller promotions. While I do agree with most of his comments, he has to give some props to the fans.

Edit:By the way... Homicide is aware that pretty much no one outside of the "internet wrestling fans" actually know who he is, right?

Yeah it's pretty weak to come out and verbally attack your own fans but...in the end he's probably right about smarks needing to shut up...than again some people on this forum might do a better job of booking than Vince Russo...
