I heard that TNA was bringing back the X Cup soon, and I actually am pretty interested if they go with it. It might not bring in ratings, but it for sure will be a good change of pace for TNA. I actually might watch a whole impact episode if it's brought back, even if the matches are crappy. I've heard the following people are confirmed for being in it.

Japan
Naruki Doi
Masato Yoshino
-They announced it on a Dragon Gate show last week. All I'm saying is wow, I'm looking forward to see one of the best tag teams out there in TNA. They would fit well with the X Division, and would get some good reaction from the fans. As for the rest of the team, I'm hoping they mix it up by bringing some of the other promotions guys. I'm thinking of Jushin Liger and Hiroshi Tanahashi from NJPW. Or they can bring in BxB Hulk and have him dance...

UK
PAC
-I don't really know if this is true or not if he's coming or if there's a Team GB at all. PAC is amazing, and he should also be a nice fit competing in front of the Impact fans. For the rest of the team, Jody Fleisch and Jonny Storm are two of the great highfliers I know from GB, but I don't really know who else could fill out the rest of the spots.

Mexico
-For this team, a Shocker appearance wouldn't surprise me. I heard a while back they were trying to bring in Mistico, that would be pretty sweet. I don't really know who else could be on the team, I only follow AAA for Lucha, but I haven't have time to watch what I recorded.

Canada
-This could be a good team if TNA decides to bring in a Canadian squad. Petey Williams is a definite, and so is Eric Young. but I'm not so sure about Devine. It would be pretty funny to see TNA bring in Teddy Hart, I could see it happening because of his last name, no matter how big of a D-Bag he is.

USA
-Chris Sabin, Alex Shelley, Sonjay Dutt, Jay Lethal. I'll probably be right.

Again, this is just speculation. TNA might not do this at all, maybe we'll just see Russo have comedy segments with them. My hopes might be a little high, but I guess it's OK to talk about TNA positively.

I was wondering when someone would actually make a thread in the TNA section about this. Good job.

IDK about anyone else, but a matchup of the Guns vs. Doi and Yoshino would fucking OWN? Anyone agree?

Some of the teams have already been announced.

Team TNA looks to be Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin so far, with nothing else confirmed. Either Sonjay Dutt or Black Machismo are likely to be added.

Team Mexico as reported last week should be Averno, Volador Jr, Ultimo Guerrero and Rey Bucanero. This is said to be about 90% likely.

Team Japan will be Milano Collection AT and Taichi Ishikari, who were already announced. Their partners, who are from Dragon Gate will be Naruki Doi and Masato Yoshino

The final team will be Team International, and there is not a lot conformed about the team. The top names being considered for the team are Tyson Dux, Doug Williams, Alex Kozlov and Shawn Daivari.

I'd like to see Milano vs Shelley in some way, shape or form. Kozlov is a very good talent, and he deserves a chance to shine in a bigger stage, the same can be said for Doug Williams. I've seen most of Team Mexico in action, and they will NOT dissapoint.

That sounds about right for the teams, the Team International seems pretty interesting. I can't really see Doug Williams as an X Division guy, I would pay to see him wrestle Angle though. PAC would be my guess like I said before, he has more of the highspots. Team Mexico is good too, I'm pretty familiar with the styles of Averno, Bucanero and Guerrero.

If it was in Dragon Gate, yeah, but in TNA, I really don't think so. I still would love to see it happen in any way. This is when I wish for Styles and Daniels to team up again.

Yeah X-Cup, it's been fucking ages!

It used to be one of the best things about TNA back in the day. Pity their isn't going to be an all UK team :( Pac, Jody Fleisch, Johnny Storm and Doug Williams would have made an awesome team! Pac is one of the best high high flyers I have ever witnessed...

Mistico to TNA would be cool, and Rey Bucanero and Averno on Mexico would be cool too for Team Mexico.
Team USA is obvious.
Curry Man to Japan maybe?
Davairi to TNA being on the International Team would own...
I'd also like to see Samoa Joe be on someone's team...

Mistico is definitely one I want to see. Mistico > Mysterio.

Team Japan doesn't really matter imo, because the matches would be way better to see in Japan anyway, but the teams that are rumoured look pretty good for what we could see in TNA.

Team International needs Pac. I don't want to see Doug Williams, ashe isn't really an X Division wrestler. Daivari isn't someone I would really want to see either. Claudio would be a decent fit. Alex Kozlov would be good as well. Wouldn't mind seeing Nigel do it, but that's unlikely.

I just hope this thing goes ahead.
