Mike Johnson of the Pro Wrestling Insider is reporting that Santino Marella was arrested at 2:57 AM EDT this morning and charged with Driving Under the Influence.

According to Johnson, he was driving on Westshore Boulevard in Tampa, Florida when he was pulled over. Marella is currently being held in police custody on $500 bond.

How can you even put those in the same circumstances? The DUI gives WWE a bad image, especially if Santino goes unpunished!

The same way that RVD being arrested killed his chances of having a lenghty title run. I know RVD was the top champion, but that's doesn't mean that Santino shouldn't suffer a similar fate... In Santino's case, that fate would be NOT winning the tag titles.

Besides, getting a divorce doesn't hurt the company's image in any way, shape, or form.

As we reported earlier, WWE superstar Santino Marella (real name real name Anthony Carelli) was arrested this morning and charged with Driving Under the Influence in Tampa, Florida.

According to the police report, he was arrested at 6301 West Shore Boulevard with a blood alcohol level of 0.061. This figure is below Florida's legal limit in 0.08.

Santino was booked in Hillsborough County jail at 4:36 a.m. on $500 bail.

The arrest record indicates WWE as the name of his employer, which is technically inaccurate, since Santino is an independent contractor and not an actual employee of the company.

So he is out now but hmmm he aint even really under contract.....So lol he could even show up on TNA one week that would be hella funny

He does have a contract with the company. However he is not an employee of the company. Technically none of the wrestlers are. And no, he couldn't just show up on TNA because the contract he has states that he cannot appear on any other wrestling programs.
