I could have the timing wrong but didn't Charlotte do that when Becky was away and Vince prob did actually really need her? Im way too lazy to confirm
I think it was before Becky returned but after she was ready to return (bc she said she coulda done Mania but didn't return until SummerSlam). So technically Becky was available if needed

That's what the dirt sheets said at the time but from what others have said since being released it doesn't seem like they have a choice. I believed it for a bit but now it seems like dirt sheets were just grasping to explain something that didn't make sense to them

yeah and it further contrast, are we really going to believe Sasha got let go in the summer and just wanted to not be able to wrestle until January? Doubtful, obviously different situation but yeah generally speaking it's beneficial to be able to wrestle right away after a release for like 99% of wrestlers unless you were a low carder that wasnt on tv anyways
