I still remember the one time my mom(who remember barely has ever been in my fucking life) was talking about her other son(half brother of mine) dating a black girl, and told me if I ever did she disown me. She’s lucky we was in public and I didn’t want to cause any type of scene, because her stupid boyfriend or whatever they was were there also, and I ain’t about to try and get into a fight…because I would’ve went off if we was back at my grandmas house(would’ve had back up and everything). Like, how do you say that when you’ve barely even been in my life at all? Like I give any fucks what you think.

I probably would have just said, "I dare you" and walked away.

I would’ve had a hard time getting home. But I did say after that I didn’t feel great and needed to go home, so we went back to my Grandma’s and just went into a room by myself.

I’m pretty sure what was the last time I had anything to do with her. Cause I can’t remember anything after that tbh. Like it really blew my mind. Up until then as flaky as she was and everything, about being around I kept giving her a chance. After that I just didn’t wanna talk to her.

Like I’m pretty sure my grandmother on my mother side is kind of racist but thankfully she’s one of those racists that only ever says anything racist if it’s directly prompted by something but otherwise I never hear talk about it so for the most part I let it go just because she’s so much older.

I've heard some dumb shit said by family members but for the most part my direct ones have either been educated or were never that bad to begin with. Worst was probably my grandparents on my dad's side with Muslims, specifically when they wanted to build a mosque in their town, grandpa was a preacher for context....thankfully this pushed my dad from religion so we never really participated
