this is just my opinion though -

CM PUNK is MITB he will cash it in at a ??? time against randy orton starting a feud with him and at raw.

Why -

Punk lost the ECW title to get something bigger,
Punk is MITB champ
Orton has beaten HBK, Cena, HHH, Jeff, Jericho and another one i forgot. putting all of them over. so maybe in my eyes they are leaving the orton loss to give it to punk ?

I mean there was so many others to make a possible world champion -
Y2J, MVP (just drop the Us title give to someone else), Hardy, Shelton so many i am just having a real mental lock at the moment and i can't seem to remember more rofl but anyway i agree Punk should stay around in the ecw area with Morrison and Chavo and kane and a few others over there and let him stay there for at least half a year more to build him up a bit.

WWE should have a draft, so there won't be alot of big superstars like they got on RAW. I say that Punk should go to Smackdown, because we all know in the IWC that Cena and HHH are most likely gonna steal the thunder on Raw (no offense to the Cena and HHH fans).

Now, about when Punk's gonna cash in his MITB. I'm guessing he might cash it in at either Summerslam or Survivor Series.

I dunno who Punk is going to cash in the contract with, but I think it will be on Smackdown, and Punk will not win his match. The match will make him look like a superstar though, and he will win the belt later on down the road.

The match gives you a title match not a title run, just like the Royal Rumble does. The person who wins the event will not necessarily win the title down the road.

Just on top of that. Having someone lose every now and then will add to the unpredictability. Hell, giving the title shot to a midcard star, having him lose via interference, then working his way back into a title shot, is much more intriguing than "wrestler cashes in, oh yawn, wrestler is guaranteed title run."

Of course WWE won't take away MITB's credibility like that...he has to win no matter what.

Bro Edge is not going to win the title back so soon. Undertaker just got the title and is line for a long title run before his retirement which is soon. Edge will more than likely have to be put in another feud. Undertaker will hold onto the title for awhile.

Think about what would happen if Flair lost his MiTB cashin. No longer could people hype "everybody who has won MiTB went on to become a champion with that opportunity." Or, if they did, it would be "everybody... except CM Punk." I think you'd have to piss Vince off pretty bad to be immortalized like that. And since Vince apparently really likes Punk, yeah, that just won't happen.
