Good, I remember when this first came out this may be dejavu or something but It does look familiar.

I've talked about possibly doing it in the past, but I never actually got down to it.

As I said house shows will be in recap form, which basically means it will be like when you find house show results on spoiler websites. So here we are with OMEGA house show number 1.

OMEGA House Show #1

May 10, 2008 - RBC Center - Raleigh, North Carolina - 21,500 in attendance

The show started off with Matt Hardy coming out to greet the fans. He first announced the main event: Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, and Ric Flair vs. Shelton Benjamin, John Morrison, and The Miz! He also said that there would be a tournament to decide the OMEGA Heavyweight Champion and that 3 qualifying matches for that tournament would take place tonight. He said that tonight's matches would consist of Kevin Thorn vs. Jimmy Wang Yang, Kofi Kingston vs. James Curtis, and Steve Corino vs. Cody Rhodes. Then Steve Corino came out and said that since he was the last OMEGA champion, that he shouldn't have to qualify, but Matt Hardy told him that his match was now!

Match 1 - Cody Rhodes def. Steve Corino (OMEGA Heavyweight Championship Tournament Qualifier)
Short match, but pretty good. Corino was in control for most of it. Rhodes wins the match by reversing the Old School Expulsion into a school boy pin.

"Our teacher" Matt Striker came out and said that he would be returning to the ring tomorrow to qualify for the OMEGA Heavyweight Championship Tournament. He then hyped BDV who then came out for his match.

Match 2 - Big Daddy V def. Colin Delaney
Another short one. The obvious squash match. Besides a punch at the beginning, Delaney had no offense.

Match 3 - Kofi Kingston def. James Curtis (OMEGA Heavyweight Championship Tournament Qualifier)
Awesome display by Kingston, who won with the "Boom Boom Boom" followed by the Jamaican Buzzsaw. I wish he had a tougher opponent.

Match 4 - Kevin Thorn def. Jimmy Wang Yang (OMEGA Heavyweight Championship Tournament Qualifier)
Finally, a decent match. Kevin Thorn had most of the offense at the beginning, but the Asian Redneck soon took control. Towards the end, he went up to the top rope, only for Thorn to hit him with the Original Sin. Thorn then did the Crucifix Powerbomb and won.

Match 5 - CM Punk & Rey Mysterio def. Dave Taylor & Gregory Helms
Both teams had great teamwork, but at the end, the face team was standing tall. Rey Mysterio hit a 619 on Taylor followed by Punk hitting the GTS. I was surprised not to see a lot of Helms in this match.

Match 6 - Super Crazy def. Paul London, Shannon Moore, Nunzio, Joey Matthews
A five-man cruiserweight match. Matches like this need to be put on TV. Paul London took out Nunzio and Joey Matthews in one crossbody to the outside. Righ after this, Super Crazy hit a moonsault on Shannon Moore in the ring for the win.

Super Crazy gets a microphone and says that he won because he's "Super" and "Crazy," meaning he's "Super Crazy!"

Main Event - Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, Ric Flair def. Shelton Benjamin, John Morrison, and The Miz.
This match had a slow start, but was still Main Event material. With the normal Matt Hardy in the ring getting beat up happening, the crowd began a "We want Flair" and "We want Jeff" arguement. Flair was the one tagged in. The end of the match however, was spectactular. All of the cameras in the arena went off as Matt Hardy gave the Twist of Fate to the Miz, followed by Ric Flair locking in the Figure-Four Leg Lock. While that was locked in, Jeff Hardy hit a Swanton onto the Miz. Miz soon tapped out.

After the match Ric Flair thanked the crowd for coming and led everyone in one big "WOO!"

This is quite a good concept. We might see some highflying matches here but looks like you've added some powerhouse guys like Thorn and BDV. Looks great so far even the house show results.

Yeah, I wanted a promotion with cruiserweights because the WWE got rid of the Cruiserweight Championship. I miss those days...

OMEGA House Show #2

May 11, 2008 - RBC Center - Raleigh, North Carolina - 21,500 in attendance

The show started with Matt Hardy coming out to announce the matches. He said that 3 more qualifying matches for the OMEGA Heavyweight Championship Tournament would take place tonight. He then announced the main event: CM Punk & Ric Flair vs. Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas in a Tornado Tag match. He also said that he'd be teaming with Jeff Hardy against OMEGA alumni Joey Abs & Gregory Helms. Finally, he announced an Extreme Rules match between Tommy Dreamer & Nunzio.

Match 1: Elijah Burke def. Colin Delaney (OMEGA Heavyweight Championship Tournament Qualifier)
Squash match. Delaney got in a few punches and a dropkick, but Burke dominated the majority of the match. Burke finished him off with the Elijah Express.

Match 2: Stevie Richards vs. James Curtis
I saw a lot of people leave for consessions during this match. Stevie wins after the Stevie T.

Match 3: The Boogeyman def. Matt Striker by countout (OMEGA Heavyweight Championship Tournament Qualifier)
Striker was frightened when he heard that The Boogeyman was his opponent. Striker walked out on him about 5 or 6 minutes into it. However, he then announced that The Boogeyman would face Big Daddy V in the first round of the tournament!

Match 4: Matt & Jeff Hardy def. Joey Abs & Gregory Helms
The Hardyz dominated this one. Abs was the victim of a Poetry in Motion, a Twist of Fate, and a Swanton Bomb.

Match 5: CW Anderson vs. Scotty 2 Hotty (OMEGA Heavyweight Championship Tournament Qualifier)
Awesome pop for Scotty before the match. This match had a lot of back and forth action, and I wouldn't have minded seeing it on TV. At the end, S2H went for the worm and missed, and soon became victim of a Double-A Spinebuster from CW Anderson.

Match 6: Tommy Dreamer def. Nunzio (Extreme Rules)
Great use of weapons, but definitely dominated by Dreamer. Nunzio went through a table, got hit with a chair while a trash can was on his head, hit with a kendo stick, hit with the lid of a trash can, hit with the chair again, and finally DDTd onto a chair.

Match 7: Super Crazy, Paul London, & Brian Kendrick def. Joey Matthews, Christian York, & John Morrison
This match displayed lots of high-flying spots and teamwork. The match ended after Kendrick hit a Sliced Bread #2 on York followed by a moonsault from Super Crazy.

Main Event: Ric Flair & CM Punk def. World's Greatest Tag Team (Tornado Tag)
The World's Greatest Tag Team could not overcome the 16-time World's Champion and the Straightedge Superstar. The match ended with Charlie Haas tapping out to a Figure-4/Anaconda Vice combo.

OMEGA House Show #3 – May 13, 2008 – Asheville Civic Center – Asheville, North Carolina – 7,674 in attendance

The show starts with Ric Flair coming out to announce the matches. He starts off by announcing the main event: CM Punk & Rey Mysterio vs. The Miz & John Morrison. He also announced the 4 first round matches of the OMEGA Heavyweight Championship Tournament that will take place tonight: Matt Hardy vs. Joey Matthews, Elijah Burke vs. Super Crazy, The Boogeyman vs. Big Daddy V, and Charlie Haas vs. Shannon Moore. He also said that he would take on Dave Taylor, and there would be a 6-man tag match between two teams of ECW originals: Stevie Richards, Tommy Dreamer, & Balls Mahoney vs. CW Anderson, Steve Corino, & Nunzio. At that moment Steve Corino comes down and tells Flair that he does not want to be referred to as an ECW original, because the style of wrestling was too hardcore for The King of Old School. Flair says that you can’t erase the past, and Corino says that if he could erase the past, he’d erase all of Flair’s world title reigns. Flair’s had enough and gives one knife-edge chop to Corino, which sends him falling backwards. Flair leaves the ring to cheers.

Match 1: Matt Hardy def. Joey Matthews (OMEGA Heavyweight Championship Tournament First Round)
In a match mostly dominated by Matthews, Hardy pulled it off towards the end. After a combination of a Side Effect, Leg Drop, and Twist of Fate, Hardy pinned Matthews for the 3.

Match 2: Elijah Burke def. Super Crazy (OMEGA Heavyweight Championship Tournament First Round)
It was very hard to tell who was in control of this match, as there were lots of reversals. In the end, Super Crazy missed a standing moonsault, was whipped into the corner, and then hit with the Elijah Express.

Match 3: Gregory Helms & Johnny Jeter def. Jimmy Wang Yang & Funaki
Jimmy Wang Yang didn’t have his cowboy gimmick for this match (I guess to match Funaki because they’re both Japanese). Helms took control early on and passed it over to Jeter. After both Jeter & Helms hit Shining Wizards on Funaki, Helms finished him off with a single knee facebuster.

Match 4: Shannon Moore def. Charlie Haas (OMEGA Heavyweight Championship Tournament First Round)
Shelton Benjamin came out to interfere and Jeff Hardy came to even the odds. This distracted Haas and Moore wins with a roll-up.

Match 5: Ric Flair vs. Dave Taylor
Very technical match with lots of submission holds. Flair won after Taylor tapped to the Figure-4.

After the match, Steve Corino & CW Anderson attacked Flair. Stevie Richards, Tommy Dreamer, and Balls Mahoney came down and started beating up Corino & Anderson. Then Nunzio came down and Taylor got up, making it an 8-man brawl. The faces seemed to win the brawl when the heels all left the ring, but Matt Hardy came out and announced an 8-man over the top rope battle royal.

Match 6: Tommy Dreamer def. Stevie Richards, Balls Mahoney, CW Anderson, Steve Corino, Nunzio, Ric Flair, & Dave Taylor (Over the Top Rope Battle Royal)
Eliminations
Nunzio by Tommy Dreamer
Steve Corino by Ric Flair
Ric Flair by CW Anderson
Dave Taylor by Balls Mahoney & Tommy Dreamer
CW Anderson by Stevie Richards
Balls Mahoney by Stevie Richards
Stevie Richards by Tommy Dreamer

Match 7: Big Daddy V def. The Boogeyman (OMEGA Heavyweight Championship Tournament First Round)
Matt Striker interfered and hit The Boogeyman with a chair when the ref wasn’t looking. This helped give BDV the win.

Main Event: The Miz & John Morrison def. CM Punk & Rey Mysterio
Towards the end, Rey missed a 619 on Morrison and got hit with a corkscrew neckbreaker. CM Punk tried to break up the pin, but The Miz clotheslined him. Overall, the main event was okay, but I would have rather seen Shelton Benjamin & Jeff Hardy do something tonight after their mini-brawl earlier.

Yep, "televised" shows will be in full. Basically, I'm in the process of hiring a match writer to help me out. Information about when the "TV" shows will start will be on the next house show.

EDIT - TV show spoiler (credit C4)
