Haven't seen much ROH...

I've been watching a lot of wrestling lately, mainly from the 80's/Early 90's era... but I've seen a couple ROH matches, and heard of many more. I'm looking to kind of get "started" with ROH...... where do I start?? Any particular wrestlers to look out for?

Any recommendations on what to start watching? Whether it be matches, DVDs, or whatever.. please let me know. Thanks!

well you should watch brian danielson, chris hero, and basicly everyone in roh is good esp those two. also watch the tag team matches. they have been great lately. any match with the brisco's is good...

If I had to make a list of guys to look out for:

Jay and Mark Briscoe (The Briscoe Brothers)
Bryan Danielson
Nigel McGuiness (The Current ROH Champ)
Claudio Castagnoli
Chris Hero

There's about three or four stables in ROH at the moment, each with big names in the company. I might talk a bot more about them later.

As far as shows are concerned:

Manhattan Mayhem (The first one, since there was a MMII)
Glory By Honor V Night Two
Driven
Man Up
Good Times, Great Memories
Punk:The Final Chapter
Joe vs Kobashi
Unified
Glory By Honor III

I'm probably missing a couple of shows, but those are the ones off the top of my head.

As for the matches:

Joe vs Punk (There's three of them and I would suggest them all)

Bryan Danielson vs KENTA (From the Glory By Honor Night 2 show)

Bryan Danielson vs Nigel McGuiness (Their match from Driven and the one
from Unified)

The Briscoes vs Kevin Steen and El Generico (This a ladder match from the Man Up show).

Bryan Danielson vs Roderick Strong (Their best one took place at a show called Vendetta)

Samoa Joe vs Kenta Kobashi

Jimmy Jacobs vs BJ Whitmer (A Cage match from the Supercard of Honor II show)

The Briscoes vs Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin (From the Good Times, Great Memories show).

I also suggest you check your private messages in a bit.
