^^that was my next thought....see a lot of people really excited about 2 chamber matches, but how good is it really going to be, if there both short? People will piss on it.

Well this is my guess time wise. Kennedy-Flair is going to go 10 minutes tops. Rey-Edge 15 at the very most. I'm guess Cena-Orton isn't going very long, I'm going to say 10-12 minutes I say that mainly because I don't care what anyone says Cena can't be 100% so I don't think he's going to be able to go out there and wrestle for 20-30 mintues. So right there if they go with those times that's 45 minuts, that leave 2 hours and 15 minutes for bull shit and 2 EC's. I think that's plenty of time to have good matches and make people happy for the most part.

yeah but people would still crap on it as a ppv, and it does nothing for any of those other guys to have short crappy matches just so they can have good EC matches.

Hmm..agreed. WWE has backed themselves into a corner here. I'm looking forward to seeing what they do. As stated, both elim chambers need a decent amount of time to look good. I'm worried more about the length of the other matches. 10 minutes is shitty for a WWE or WHC match.

SD's EC will not be long. I mean, in there, only Batista, MVP, Taker and Finlay are worthy, and Finlay will not be kept long, as for Mania he is not a credible contender. And idk how long booking can keep going an EC reduced to 3 man.

However, Raw's EC will be the longest. From there, I just see them taking JBL out quickly, as I don't think he'd take too many bumps on the structure with his hurt back and all.

Raws will have to be longer because 3 of the competitors have been in hellish EC matches before, Umaga has proved he can take a beating and Hardy should be booked to hit some sick moves like a swanton of the top of a chamber, theres only JBL who i cant see lasting to long in the chamber

Khali & BDV :(

I hope they take out khali or titman and have them defend their participation in the match against Big Show and Show wins. Either way

SD! Winner
Taker

RAW Winner

My guess is that the SD elimination chamber will be relatively short. Taker and Batista will eliminate everyone else quickly and it will come down to those two.

The Raw EC will be given time, probably about an hour because of all the talent in it.

My theory is that Batista or Taker will win the SD EC. And Triple H will win the RAW EC.

Bottom line is, short elimination chamber matches, shot world title matches? Doesn't matter it smells like crap. WWE went total overkill on this PPV and they really didn't need to.

If they have just the 5 matches they have right now, how will there be short matches? I know it looks a bit like overkill, but I think it's going to be good.

Flair/Kennedy 12 min

Edge/Mysterio- 15 min

Cena/Orton- 10 min

Raw EC- 45 min

SD EC- 35 min

That all equals less than 2 hrs. So hell, they could make the 2 EC matches and hr long and still have time left over. I mean, I can see your point, but it certainly looks good, and I hope it is.

This Guy,
I think we should wait and see what actually happens before we start to judge it. Yet again as has been stated above the SD chamber shouldn't go any longer than 30-40 minutes and the singles matches w/ the exeption of Cena-Orton don't need to go very long because we know whose going to win. The only thing than needs an hour is the Raw EC because they have the actual competitors in it to actually sustain the match for that long and make it sweet. Personally I think with the people in that chamber it could go for an hour and a half be awesome.

Edit: Peep couldn't agree more. There is more than enough time to make this a very, very good PPV.

you think Cena & Orton should only go 10 minutes? ouch. Both title matches should go 20 minutes min. I'd go closer to 30 minutes each though. But only 5 matches? Somehow I doubt that there won't be a 6th match min of CM Punk vs. Chavo for the title as well.

I guess I'm the only one who really watches WWE PPV's. Apprently I'm the only one who notices how much time is actually wasted between matches. This PPV will be no different. However, I agree that judging it before I see it is wrong, but its not really a judging as pointing out the potential for it to go wrong. I mean regaurdless if the matches are all decent lengths, 2 Elimination Chamber matches on one PPV is over kill. I mean people bitch when TNA has more then one gimmick match a PPV, this is the same gimmick match twice in one night. People also said it was over kill when the WWE did the TLC match between Edge & Cena and the HIAC match between DX & The McMahons & Big Show. It was but at least it was two different gimmick matches and the WWE managed to make it work. 2 of the same, a gimmick that should be used sparingly to keep it special, is a huge stretch. If this was TNA doing two King of the Mountain matches WWE fans would be crapping all over them for it, but because its WWE its aparently awesome. I love elimination chamber matches as much as the next WWE fan, but when you use it twice in one night you take away the specialness of it.

Its like I said Peep in the one betting thread for TNA, everytime TNA has an Ultimate X match its billed as the Return of the Ultiamte X even though they have one like every 3rd PPV. It takes away the specialness of the match. And its my opinion that 2 elimination chambers in one night kills the specialness of it.
