Should I see a doctor?

2 days ago I broke my toe.. and I was wondering, should I see a doctor? I can barely walk and it's all purple and weird looking.

Well I heard from some other people that all the Doctor does is Tape it up.

ok for your condition that is internal bleeding... you have to immediately clean it using some sterilized and alcohol swaps.

Becareful it might get worse and that will result in a gangrene! thats not a funny thing, so take care.

But before that you would need to take a plain X-ray of the toe as well as the whole plantar view of the foot at first to make sure that the bones is not broken or scratched.

Yes I know but I was looking up a few questions on Yahoo answers and most of them ended up with ''the doctor cant fix a broken toe'' ''all he will do is tape it up, it has to heal on its own''. Im asking you guys, to see if anyone here has personal experience.

Don't worry about it I've broken every toe on both feet pretty much and never been to the doctor.
