Of all the cruiserweights on smackdown: Jimmy Wang Yang, Funaki, Shannon Moore, Rey Mysterio, Jamie Noble (not forgetting Gregory Helms & Chavo but they probably won't be back for a while)
and on the more unlikely side:
Daivari, Super Crazy, Nunzio, Brian Kendrick, Paul London & Stevie Richards (technically Richards is at the correct weight range)

Who would you want to see has the next Cruiserweight Champion?
Personally, I want Moore, Mysterio, Daivari or JWY.

Rey should go for the cruiserweight titles because he can't beat henry, edge, batista, taker or khali and it would be retarted if he pulled out a fair victory over one of them.

The title is a complete joke. It was already pretty worthless before Hornswoggle won it, but after that happened it completely lost any credibility that it had. Personally I think they're going to scrap the title just because it seems like they have no interest in pushing it at all. But you never know and I do agree giving Stevie Richards the title would be pretty kick ass, but I highly doubt that will happen.

What, Jamie Noble is one of the best they have ever had. When he was with Nidia and wore the ripped jean shorts he was almost unbeatable. Noble should bring Nidia back to Smackdown! and he could kick ass again.

Daivari will never be champion, of anything, he is just too bad.

Jamie Noble appears as the obvious choice, but Jimmy Wang Yang would be good, and Gregory Helms when he returns would be awesome

Perfect time for WWE to actually make something of it's cruiserweight division! I can't see them actually scrapping the title as what would the point of brining in guys such as Sydal in! Though saying that, the fact they haven't mentioned the title for a number of weeks even though it's vacant not only surprises me but raises even more suspiciousness oif the title being scrapped!

Personnaly, i think that it's still a rescuable project. I'd keep the current guys & bring in some more such as Super Crazy & Maybe Daviari! Also there are a number of Cruiser's in OVW who could have the chance to be called up & immidiately be put in the title situation!

I'm calling it now, a 10/12 man Battle Royal for the title at Cyber Sunday combining all three Raw/ECW & SMacky-Backy Superstars! & Yes, Noble should win & slowly revert back to his trailer trash gimmick! Maybe put REY in there aswell & either give him the title or have him feud with the champion for a month or two before going back to the heavyweight division!

The cruiser weight title is a joke they should give the title to some who deserves it not to little clowny midgets like hornswoggle they should give it to someone like Shannon Moore.

I don't know about Shannon Moore.....definetly Noble or Richards would also be a good choice....but that will only happen if they decide to move the title to ECW
