I only play using Pokemon I like rather than Pokemon that are good. I'm very vocal about my disdain towards ugly Pokemon that are used solely because they have high stats, such as Landorus. I respect using monotypes only, and if you structure your team well and play carefully, you can take down better teams with 'em.

That is an odd way to play, but whatever floats your boat. Also, why would a pokemon's look be a decision matter instead of if the stats are good/great? That just seems odd to me. I only play Monotype because it was/is the easiest "class" for me to understand and it was easy for me to get a grasp of. Thank you, most either hate Mono or don't understand why someone would do it.

Each Pokemon is a piece of art. Why on earth would I want to carry around art that looks like crusty ass Dorito? Playing with Pokemon solely because they're good is tasteless. It takes away creativity by selecting only the best instead of selecting what people form genuine connections with. More focus should be put into having fun with Pokemon you enjoy rather than having fun only by winning with the best Pokemon available.

Alright, different way to look at it, but okay. Also, isn't the point of battling to win and in order to win wouldn't you want good pokemon? Plus, there are people who use whatever and have fun doing it, and that is fine.
